So Hallowe'en is coming up... which is perhaps one of the most interesting holidays specifically for us furries... What're your plans for the holiday? Are you going to dress up? And if so, as what? Going trick-or-treating, by any chance? Do our fursuiters here do anything special for the day? Got any furry events that you're attending for this holiday? Me... Well, I'll have to see what my work schedule is even like before I can make any kind of plans, if any. Personally, I'm not a costumer, so the holiday often goes by with very little notice from me, except for a bit of candycandycandy, of course. Benjamin

Most of the time, if I am not out at a Halloween party I just sit at home watching Tv with a huge bowl of candy(Last year we got 3 kids) Then I am "forced" to eat the extras!(This is Canada! we don't waste food here!) Agg, this holiday is nearly as bad as xmas! it all goes straight to my thighs! But thats okay

Sounds fairly typical, really. Heheh. Is it just me, or are there always fewer and fewer kids coming around trick-or-treating each year? Benjamin

If I'm lucky, I'll be working by then. If not, I'll turn my lights off.

Seems so, but our numbers have always varied from year to year so it's a bit hard to tell around here (back part of a duplex, we can have 4 kids, we might get 20) As for plans, nothing major set in stone yet, just sit around, with my ears, and have... (insert music from MGS 3 which I won't mention by name for spoiler reasons) playing

Well and also it would seem that today's youth(I sound like an old man saying that! ) is alot more...I don't even know how to word this, I guess mature acting? Everyone is trying to act older and older, by how they dress and the activity's they partake in. There is generally still a hand-full of older kids that go out trick or treating but I think the main reason for less people going out on Halloween is because it's considered a kids activity. But if you ask me, at 18 I would still go out if I had someone to go with! Free Candy! wooo!

Is it just me, or are there always fewer and fewer kids coming around trick-or-treating each year? ..Err.. sorry about that. *Cough* Mm... It's certainly a wicked holiday.. wouldn't miss it. No fursuits this year; they're all at home, but I'll be donning some vamp gear and something of a mask once I make it. Be partying it up with a six-foot gorilla and a Guerilla activist. Which.. now that I think about it, is something of a coincidence.. We're hopefully NOT going to watch donnie darko, but if the boys force me to, I suppose I'll be forced to run screaming from the room. I encourage the rest of you to post pics of your gear! My own will come soon. Cheers, -Lady Serpent

I hope to be able to go to the local radio station mascarade, they block a street in town and have activities, except that maybe a party with my g/f friends... both are good reasons to get my tail and ears on ^^'

Whee... I'm scheduled to work on that evening, so that kinda ruins whatever plans I may have tried to make. Blah. Grrr... Ah well. It's not like I ever make much of a big deal out of the holiday, for that matter. Benjamin

I'll be rushing home, handing out goodies to local children, then hopping on the bus to head to Furgeta's house for a rocking Halloween party! I probably WON'T dress up... I don't know why... b/c everything I want to be is usually so obscure that most people won't know what it is! So I just don't bother... Besides... I'm going wedding dress shopping the next day, so not TOO interested in trying to remove sticky makeup from ma face! But I am attending a Zombie party on the 7th... so I will dress up then! Halloween... class, then work. Yay this being a mandatory holiday! After that, probably just hang out with the roomies. Had the party of sorts this weekend, which was mostly experimenting with D&D 4th ed.
