Well, if anyone have seen the movie The Golden Compass you will know instantly what im going to talk about so here goes. In the movie, evryone is accompanied with a demon ( and animal soul wich freely stands beside you at all times), so i was wondering wich animal would mostly be with you? For me, well it would be a wolf, since its my favorite animal and simply that ive grown with that .

I walk with lions, mainly. Or if you want to get technical, the prehistoric lions that used to reside in North America. Spiritually speaking, I'm a totemist. My totem is the lion, of course. I won't go into detail as to how or why I feel this way though. Benjamin

A fox, obviously. Won't most furs pick the same species as their fursona? (Although I see Kell is an exception here.)

Even though I'm an otter, I can't help but feel that mine would probably be a raccoon or a wolf.
I've read the book but haven't seen the movie, and I thought it was pretty good. Kinda don't wanna see the movie because I enjoy how my mind visualizes the characters; seeing them through a movie would ruin it, or at least degrade the original feeling of how I mentally represented them.

Dammit, I want to jump ship and be something nothing like my fursona, but it seems like I keep getting drawn back to it.
My daemon would be a wildcat of some kind, leopardine at the very least. My fursona is an ocelot, which is basically the house cat of leopards, but you get the idea.
Also, I should note that Golden Compass' daemon's don't become fixed in their form until they become adults, however the actual age that defines 'adult' I don't believe is defined within the book or alternate sources.

Maaaayybe a Rat. I've always loved rats.. And my Zodiac is Rat too. Sadly we are not allowed to have Rats where I live, or else I might really have one for a companion. Speaking of rodents, I released Scruff and Tower today. It was very cool, Scruff took off in a flash. Tower, who was still quite young, touched my finger (though in a glove) with his paw. He was starting to get tame, so I knew it was time to let them go even though we haven't caught the whole family yet. He took his time when I released him. (They are mice iffn ye missed my earlier post about them).

I took a little test about my animal daemon a few months ago and I ended up with a snow leopard.

The Golden Compass comes from a novel called Northern Lights and the writer decreed that our daemon becomes fixed as soon as we get self awareness..ie puberty. My daemon is obviously gonna be a leopard but as its a bit tricky to keep a leopard in UK i have to make do with my trusty little cat

It was with Sedy's influence as an Ojibwe that I learned of the native spiritual beliefs and their systems. My own beliefs spin off of that, and go on their own little tangent thanks to my English upbringing. We English folks like to make things our own. Benjamin

Never saw the movie but... by my own choice, either a Dragon or some kind of cat... if it's based on personality, who knows, even I don't know that much XD;

It'd probably be a dragon, or maybe a Pokemon (Squirtle or Eevee)

Yeah, they never really state an exact age, but saying 'puberty' is about the same as saying 'when you become an adult'. It's more of an age range than a specific age. I'm just more numerical minded like that though, so I always go with the exact age type deal. lol

Obviously it's not very easy for a gryphon to be a totem...
I'd be curious to see what's 'seen' in me by others spiritually, truth be told - I'm not sure how privileged I am to make that decision. That being said, that Golden Compass daemon meme that others have mentioned DID yield a peregrine falcon in my case.

A lynx or a cheetah. It could be any feline, really. But if it's an animal, then it is a feline.

I took that test they have on the site and wasn't very happy with what it gave me.. I say fox just cause I'm convinced I have all the choice in the world as to what would follow me around if that were the case... *Flips the 'test' the bird and scampers off*
