From what i have heard... there will not be ANY more Howloween's. The people who organized it don't have the time to put in.
Last year's was canceled because of a party in the Hotel in 2006 that got us no welcome back. they couldn't find another location... that probably has something to do with this year onward as well...

Aww...I really wish I could go...Even if I was in Vancouver at the time, I don't think my parents would want me to be walking around with a bunch of people double my age, and even if I was allowed, I don't think the people double my age would be interested in talking to a young'un like me....
Headless lounge is for fursuiters to go if they need to take a break, and cool off. A place where they can 'take off their head'
And I'm figuring that donations mean that they're taking donations to raise some more money for Howloween...
I donno if you've already figured out that stuff or what, but I'm just putting in my two cents...

UPDATE - Yar its official: "Well, it wasn't without problems and nitpicking, but the hotel contract has been signed, deposit has been left, and Howloween - the Resurection is official. Saturday, November 8 at the Compass Point Inn in Surrey ( www.compasspointin n.com). Here are details you need to know: - 2 room function space - main ballroom and social room - 100 cans of pop & chicken wings to serve 75 people (can be increased day of event if desired) - cash bar in social room with no restrictions on entry to minors (hotel will take responsibility) - hotel room rate of $89 for antendees - No outside food or drinks allowed in function space, but candy and headless lounge donations are ok.- Reg is only $20, just to recover our costs. Everyone PLEASE spread the word!!! Tell everyone, Saturday November 8th at the compass point inn in surrey! Remember, the hotel is easily accessible from king george skytrain station and minors are welcome! P~Dawg * I would like to than Aphinity for all his hard work for bringing back Howloween. I am spreading the word and I hope other follow suit. " |

Considering it's in a phrase that includes the mention of other treats, I think it's intended to mean that you're allowed to donate food and treats for enjoyment at the headless lounge.
