so how come when you're lost, you never run into your stuff?

I usually end up at a place that has a) cheap beer, and b) wireless. If I can't find a place with both, I choose ... actually, fuck, I choose option B. Having the ability to contact loved ones takes precedence over -cheap- beer.

When I get lost, I invariably end up at the ship. Granted, I may end up losing expensive electronics, or falling into water with deadly stingrays, but I get back. As for my personal effects... who knows. I've had one camera fall into the clutches of an entirely different ship. My eyes were also stolen by an absolutely smashing long-haired topless redhead in Key West, but that's another story. My eyes have been fully recovered and held hostage by Lady Mich.  |
