I popped into Fabricland over at Northland Mall yesterday, and came out with bundles of fur!  wooo!

Fabricland normally has a really poor selection of fur, but it looks like they got in a shipment of some really nice luxury fur.
It isn't on rolls unfortunately, it was in bundles over in the section by the fleece, most of the bundles were about 2 meters x 1.5 meters, at $25/meter.

The most of the fur is beautiful 2 tone fur, in various lengths, I got some beautiful black and grey wolf, and mixed brown coyote fur, and some 3 inch long white shaggy fur.

If you are in need of nice fur without having to pay the outrageous shipping costs, I suggest you check out your nearest fabricland... before I buy it all.

I used to ALWAYS go to FabricLand for fur....
..But then it failed me......It failed me  Cry .....

...But I suppose I have nowhere else to get fur other than the interwebs, So I'll probably continue going  Roll Eyes

The FabricLand in Vancouver usually has some good fur whenever I'm there..

There was a buckskin color, however the downy under color was blue.  If you shaved it the blue would show through too much.

How long was the pile? If it's short enough I may be able to pull off saying it's a horse in winter xD

^_^;;;  I'll probably buy whatever is left, if I find a good color I can always sell it to you.
I have a membership, so I usually get products at a discount anyway.

I went back to fabricland today....

I think I may have a problem...my closet:

I found some buckskin fur, but didn't buy any, the pile was maybe 1/4"

There was 2 meters of a more yellowish fur with an 1" pile in the luxury bin, sorry it didn't photograph well..

When in doubt, Fenris, we can always stop by Fabricland when we make a trip to the plastics store... whenever you wanna go

Are you serious that brown fur was $16/m? >> I recently bought some fur and it looks exactly the same...except mine costed $40/m.

Woot!  I worked at one of the Winnipeg Fabriclands until July of this year...  The best times to find fur there is in mid-to-late August, as you've already found out.  It's when we get our shipment of the Hallowe'en and Christmas costume stuff.  Smiley  also, ask about the winter shipment of fleeces- there's usually a selection of fun colours and textures in those- some great piled fabrics and wonderfully soft stuff.  Some neat patterns, too.

Heh, I recognized the two-toned purple fur with the floral patterns.  I have two metres of that neatness myself.  Working at the store gave me some pretty snazzy discounts.  your closet looks like mine, too- big piles of fabric in there.  I keep mine in bags, 'cuz three cats make it very difficult to keep their hair out.  Cheesy
