*the familiar click of a cocked rifle being fired with an empty chamber is heard right behind DV's head*
So... *walks around into view, slinging the weapon over his shoulder* ...there's finally some real competition around these parts. Welcome, you may call me 'Pyro'. Not my real name, of course, but one such as yourself surely understands.
*DV stares at the rifle over the shoulder of Pyro*
Looks like a custom .30-06 Weston & Chester... hmm the stocks been modified, no, custom designed too, it fits too snugly in your hand to be stock. The hammer has a light curve over most standard rifles ive come across, allows quick and smooth thumb action like a pistol except less taxing on the condition of the thumb, introduces the advantage of less fatigue as well. And a respectable bolt action.
Not bad. Not bad. I hope you dont-
*in one swift motion DV grabs Pyro by the collar and presses the extended barrel that is the silencer of his own firearm up to Pyros temple*
-Mind me showin off my wares.
This is a very special near and dear to me handgun. Its completely custom, right down to the springs with a design inspired by the Hackler n' Katch .40 Universal Pistol, one of the best designs ever made. The grip is of a thin rubber allow for maximum grip, the custom silencer is built onto the barrel permanently and weighted down to reduce blowback, and on top of that, the metal is brushed with an anti-shine material so as not to stupidly alert anybody of its presence. The metallic material the weapon is made out of is 100% non traceable and will not set off alarms, the hammer and hammer receiver are built perfectly to withstand eachother in a soft hit while collecting the velocity data and triggering the bullet. And furthermore, its specially designed ammunition has built in suppressor capabilities, emitting as low noise as possible.
Effectively, theres nothing more silent, than this deadly beauty.
*releases Pyro and slips pistol in pocket*
Be honored, not many see this, and live past that point.

), Welcome to the forum!
I recently saw a air-soft rifle that was on for sale that I was thinking of picking up: it was a set of two guns, a M161A carbine model with scope, handle, attachable laser sight and flashlight, along with a 1911 .45 pistol model with attachable laser sight and flashlight. I'm not the biggest fan of the models, but for $70, it's kind of tempting. My roommate thinks I'm nuts, thinking it would get me in trouble with the cops (as if I would be wondering around, waving it madly), but as I pointed out, the guns are made of clear plastic. You can see right through them!

Ehheh... yeah you may not want to pick those up for one very interesting reason: The price. Im assuming the $70 means its going to be spring loaded, meaning you have to cock each shot, which can frustrate under tight circumstances where semi-automatic at least would be a hell of alot more favorable. Also the quality you have to watch out for. My buddy bought an electronic M4 with all the fixins', and the clip snapped and a mechanism broke inside of it, only a couple hours after unwrapping it from its box.
So id check up on the reviews of the model numbers from Website,s itll greatly aid your decision making for the near future

So, yeah, welcome to the forums!

Quite refreshing to see such an in-depth intro, especially one that stretches out past the first post! Kick-ass fursona too.

I've played TF2 a bit, but I'm really not much of an online gamer. On the rare occasion that I do go online I tend to prefer CS:S gun games.
theres nothing i hate more than a "hi im here" its liek "k, and, you are?.... what?, cmon, gimme some details!"
man, CS:S gun game, my favorite CSS mod, i dont play CSS nearly as much as i used to, since discovering COD4 and Vegas2, its been hard to go back...
