Hey there

i want to use a router to share my internet connection, i use cable instead of wireless since there close to each other but i can't get the internet when i use the router, just a link between the computers.

Linksys wireless-g 2.4ghz is what i have

You need to find out what type of connection is used by your internet provider. I'm in the US and my provider is Comcast, so they use DHCP. That's the first thing to set in the router. A Linksys WRT58GL just happens to configure DHCP automatically when set to do it. Find out your "Internet Connection Type" and we'll work from there.

ok here a problem, the router working and all is ok but i can't connect to the internet with it, but it seem that its connected.

can you log into the router from your computer? If you can the problem is between the router and the net.
