Hi there!
My name's Harle(that's 'Harr-lee', not 'Harl.' Just so's you know)!
I thought I'd wander myself in and say hello to everyone!
I don't wanna talk your ears off or anything, but I figured I'd let you all know a bit about myself, just since the profile is a bit misleading. I decided I'd be honest and marked myself down as male in my profile, to cut down on surprises, but I figured I'd point out that I'm actually a non-practicing transgendered girl, so... yeah, I am a she, despite the silly little arrow icon above my avatar!
I never know what to put in those male/female things!
Anyway, I'm from New Brunswick, and as a result, I've pretty much never met a single fur outside the net. I figured this'd be a nice place to meet some folks who don't live like, a jabillion miles away. Even though, y'know, Canada's even bigger than the US, so. =(
Oh, and if anyone here happens to use Second Life, you can find me as Harle Armistice there. It's where I spend a fair bit of my time, so don't be shy! ^.^

Thanks!
And I'm from Saint John, so just an hour or so from Moncton.
Gosh I want to move to Halifax, I love that city. I'm gonna try to transfer to Dalhousie after a year or two of university. I bet there's a nice little furry community in Hali! I haven't really looked far outside of New Brunswick.

Greetings! Also, as a practicing (or attempting to...) androgyne, I usually just leave it blank for my gender

Welcome aboard, Harle! Androgyny's fairly common, I find. Rrrmmm... We have a few furs hiding around here that aren't too different from your own situation. One of them might bug you for candy sometime soon... just to give you fair warning... Enjoy the forums! Benjamin

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm a little better off as I'm not acting female, however there's the whole bigendered thing that I can't quite cover with the male / female binary. *chuckles*
Welcome to the forums!

Heh, heh. Welcome to the site, mate.
There are actually a few furs around here from your area, although I think some of them have yet to sign up to the new site.
Groovy on the transition. I feel gender isn't a defining quality in one's personality, either. My multiple fursonas are often genderless, but when they're not, they can go either way.
I'd be happy to draw your fursona sometime if you'd like to drop me a description PM. I don't have a lot of time for art lately, but when I do, I'd be happy to give it a shot.
Cheers, mate. -Lady Serpent

And hi Rainbow! Thanks for the kind welcome! And the lollipop. =D
