Coming up, October 5th at the Red and White Club in Calgary, the Comic and Toy Expo http://www.comicandtoy.ca/

I have an art table there again this year.  I'll try to have some ears and tails for sale, plus some art books.
Feel free to stop by and say hello ^_^
There's a Costume contest again this year, I will be wearing my minotaur fursuit to this event.

I think it's only $6 to get in.  If you print out the brochure on their website, or pick up a flyer at your local comic store, you get a dollar off admission.

But If your suit is being shipped in October, I'm sure that'll be a pricey enough month for you. ^_^;

Yet will be a very expensive month for me.  I still have about 500 bucks or so to pay off on my fursuit.  I'm not sure when I'll be able to pay off the rest of the money.  I'm hoping that I can pay it off in time for Halloween.

I'd love to see you there ^_^, if not, I usually do a halloween party later in  October that everyone will be invited to.
Plus, there's lots of cons in Calgary come spring.

I'll be there!! I wouldn't mind making some prints for the art tables as well. I'll have to dig up more information, hopefully it's not too late...

I haven't heard anything about the tables  being sold out, you can probably still get in  artist alley at this time.  They will often squeak artists in last minute anyway.  Most cons are nice about supporting local artists and talent

Sweet, this one is actually close to me!  I'll be there, sounds like it could be interesting.  And a satisfying outlet for my geekiness. Tongue

Dammnn, looks like i'm not going to sell artwork, i thought it fell on a Saturday, not Sunday, and i work that day! D:

Oh well, i work at 2:30, although i may not set up an art table i'll probably swing on by.

Aww, too bad.  Well I hope you can swing by for the morning at least.

Yeah, no matter how many times people complain the con should be on a Saturday not a Sunday, they always book it on a Sunday.  ALWAYS. Tongue

Oh well, it could be worse.  The con used to run in May, and for many years ran on Mothers day.  Mother's day?  What the heck?

Remember to print off the flyer on their webpage!  It will give you $1 off admission.
Costume contest details and prizes are now listed as well.
