hrmmm well what makes me proud to be canadian.
theres a few things that are obious like hockey, lecross, basketball, and curling (( all sports that are made and played by canadians)).
theres also natonial healthcare, and large diverse natonial parks.
the fact that we have 4 seasons and not just 2 or 3. ((yes im aware that otuer contrys have 4 seasons as well but there still nice to have even if i do complain about the snow a lot)).
also that canadians are some of the best inventers, with inventions like insulin, the light bulb1, the zipper, the phone, and meny outhers.
as we all know canada is also a verry diverse contry houseing people and religons of all nations.
that outher nations are fairly frendly towards us if your traveling there or in the political stand point of things.
that canadians for the most part beleave in peace not war.
and i probly could keep going on and on but im sure you all know it all by now any way
**note**1 even thoe were not credited for the lightbulb the first light bulb was a canadian invention but the guy that invented it was unable to get to the patent office and endedup giveing it away to some one that was able to

You know Canada has to have something good going for it when you see such varied people in the forces as a South African immigrant on your trade course and a blacker-than-black lady subleftenant with one Japanese last name, one African last name and a better grasp of French than English. =D (I had to explain to her what 'fish and chips' were when she asked about my knuckles today.)

I am proud to be Canadian!
I am proud of the time honored tradition of the 'Kitchen Party.' Canadians, we don't mess around. Why leave the kitchen when the beer and the food are all in the same place. We don't beat around the bush, we know what a party is about!
I'm also proud because I went to an outdoor Canada Day Countdown last night, even though it was foggy and drizzly all night. And discovered that pretty much everyone else in the city seemed to not care overly either. It's Canada! A little fog and rain isn't gonna stop us from having a good time! Any reason to party, right?
Oh, I may have some pictures of it soon. It was good times. I may be going out to the fireworks tonight, too! Yay!
