Oh wow, that's too bad. =/

Totally unexpected, too. Then again, I guess heart attacks are usually unexpected.

He will be missed.

Oh, that's a huge pity. I had no idea he was into his 70s agewise though.
Rest in peace, bud!
He was such a good comic. He won't soon be forgotten.

I hope he rests in peace also. During these days, I think that to die at the age of 71 is to die young.

Regardless, I thought his humor was very distasteful.

I had the chance to see him live here in Halifax, I loved every bit of it.

George Carlin got me through a lot of mids watches when they aired him on XM. Gonna miss him.

If you tune into SNL this week, you'll see the first ever episode from the 70's which was hosted by Carlin.

*whimper* Poor fella. I grew up listening to George Carlin; I used to sneak my parents' LPs of his acts into my room to have a listen. Then my mum heard me one day, and came in to listen with me, because she hadn't heard it in so long! He seemed to get more cynical as he got older, but he was still awesome. He'll be missed around here, for sure.
