Yeah, I'm totally going to go see it. Looks like it should be playing in Sudbury here, so that's good. If it was IMAX 3D, I couldn't see it here, but it looks like it's for standard theatres. Good stuff...

I'm not all that interested in 3D honestly. When it's a cheap convenient thing I don't even have to think about, sure, it'll be a slight improvement over 2D, but at the moment it just seems like they're trying to squeeze extra money out of people.

Anyway, I saw that movie when it first released in cinemas, so I think seeing it there again but rounder would be a bit anticlimactic by comparison. I'd rather just remember it for that first time.

I saw it with a bunch of furs just yesterday. I was impressed. The 3D was really well done.

Just figured I'd post a follow-up now that I've seen it.

I was impressed!

Looks really good when converted, didn't lose any of it's original charm at all, of course.
The movie itself was definitely the perfect choice for this conversion. It already had such a wonderful sense of atmosphere and perspective usage built in, it really wasn't too much of a leap to incorporate the 3D technology.
It's as beautiful and vivid a movie as I remember. Smiley

I was pretty impressed as well. :3 I hadn't seen the movie for so long I was laughing at all the old jokes and humming along with the music. It was a really nice experience too, with just a little nostalgia thrown in there too for me.

They'd basically just need to take all the pieces and modify them to add the second angle.

Did you end up feeling a bit of nostalgia too?
