Hi all. Spaz here from all the way in Kiwiland. I'm thinking about heading over to Canada for a year or so, maybe for a working holiday or something *shrugs*. I dunno, I have the travel bug and Canada's always caught my interest one way or the other. I know you guys have amazing scenery and some nice places to visit so I'm keen to come and check out the country. Thinking of moving over to Vancouver so far, but haven't really made a decision either way. I'm a White wolf, I'm 24, into computers, running, biking, going to the Gym and furry art (though I can't draw for scooby snacks ). As an unknown, what are the good places to hit up in terms of the furry population?

Hey Spaz, welcome to furry.ca!
I'm Tj Bluevulpine. :3
Vancouver is a nice spot, plenty of furries out here in BC though I'm not too sure what its like in the rest of the country. :3
I was just talking to a couple from New Zealand at work the other night. They showed me pictures of the awesome natural attractions you guys have down there, including a picture of a tree that was around 2000 years old and still kicking, and I thought our trees here on Vancouver Island were old haha.
Also if your an active person, BC offers some of the finest in outdoor recreation, not to mention a beautiful mountainous landscape. :3

Hiya! Fellow kiwi here =^.^= I've been living in Vancouver for 15 years now, though everyone reckons I still have my accent hehe. I'm from Taupo originally. BC does have similar geography to NZ; nice and green. Tho it does rain here more =\ If you ever want to chat feel free to contact me! My msn is lancedurand@hotmail.comNice to meet you!

o_O Oh Wow. Thanks everyone for the replys Hey Lance Cuzzie bro , 15 years and still have your Kiwi accent aye bro? Choice! I willl add you to MSN thanks Thanks for the heads up Puma, I'll defiantly put Alberta on my must travel list. Thanks Handa, I hear about Montreal a lot, I'll give that a go too. Thanks bloodredruby <3 Disel You live on an Island? Do you have to row there? Or take a Helicopter to the main land everyday? xD TJ, the attractions we have here in terms of scenery are great but I've seen them many times over, I have seen photos of your country and there are some amazing places. However if you ever want to come over and check em out hit me up, I have bed/couch space if you want a place to bunk. Will probably start of in BC, I am recently an outdoor person - love mountains. Thanks again guys I'm defiantly going to head on over, this has helped a bunch. Might go mingle in the other threads too. Woof ^ ^

Welcome to the boards, mate. Glad to hear you're thinking of doing some travelling. Very good for the soul! If you're heading out soonish, come to FurBQ! Would be a bloody fantastic way to meet a bunch of people right off the bat. Coming up pretty quick, though. : ) I dig the avatar. Welcome aboard; -Lady Serpent

Hello Spaz, welcome to the board and the Canadian community. BC is nice, been here now for over half my life, I live in the lower mainland (Vancouver area). There is lots of things to do around BC, good furry community here. It has gotten to the point where we are having our first furry convention in March 2012. As for the rest of Canada, big place lots to see and do across it. I have been coast to coast more then once always something new each time I travel it, hard to say the best place to be. But if you do decide to stay in Vancouver for a bit, a few of my furry friends and I will show you around. And as Serpent Lady said got to try and hit that FurBQ.
Once again welcome, to the boards and a welcome to Canada when you arrive.
Coal (silvermuzzle)
