So my best friend is coming here to see me this summer around June-July (All fingers crossed, he's trying his best to come here before he's deployed). I might be going up to my friend's cottage somewhere up in Barrie when he's here...but there's a chance that it might not be available.

Any suggestions on places we could visit, activities, or even things such as summer camps? I live in Ontario, somewhere around the Oshawa region (and some of you might be aware of how dead this place is). If this trip works out, this is gonna be his first time in Canada, so I need to come up with an awesome plan!!

p.s: If it helps, he's a furry too, and he's open to meeting other furries if there are any events on around the region. ^^

Hey there, mate;

Oshawa, eh?  I actually have a few good friends out that way; I could get in touch with them and see if they can offer any ideas.  They're rather outdoorsy so they tend to do a lot of the active/sightseeing type things.

Welcome to the boards, by the way.

Cheers;

Outdoorsy is exactly what I'm thinking of! I would love if your friends could help!

 I'm honestly so glad I finally found a decent place for furries. Some of the other websites are just full of creepos  and it's hard to ever be yourself amongst that..

Anyways, thanks for your help!

Look forward to hearing from you!! ^^

Toronto furries are usually up to something or other, but I'm not sure what exactly. Been a while since I've lived in the area. Heh.

Well, I'm relatively new as a furry so I havn't been involved or aware of events and such. It should be interesting this summer with my best friend here because I honestly can't gather enough courage to go by myself!

Omg, winters are so painful because we've to be cooped up inside the house for the most part! But I do love skiing!

That's something I did check out..but Montreal might be a bit too far due to the time constraints. I only have a week and a limited budget so I'll have to plan this out really well.

I was thinking it'd put restrictions on the amount of stuff we can do..but I'm gonna look into this, since your point is valid too  Cheesy
