Windows Live Installation problem

OK so  is my issue.

I want windows movie maker, so I installed the lasted update for windows, which is the windows live 2011 essencials.
It works for everything except it wont install photo gallery or movie maker.
I keep getting an error message saying installation failed photo gallery, movie maker, could not be installed

 I have looked everywhere but I have to yet to find an answer. I just want a user friendly movie maker....

You know a good program I keep hearing about is Final Cut Pro. Its a paid program though, and I would never suggest downloading a cracked version through a torrent by some sort of P2P program because that of course would be piracy.

As for your problem, all I can think of is completely wiping anything Windows Live, restart, and try the install again. No idea what could be causing the problem....
