@Kaptain you often have horrible spelling too so don't pick on others when they don't pick on you about it please don't be rude.

@Giri
personally I'd go with the grey stuff at the bottom right of the first pic or the  sandy white smack dab in the middle of the second pic both would be plenty for a tail and ears or a head and maybe a tail (might be cutting it a smidge tight then though) if you wanted to do arms you'd likely need a bit more of whatever color to do those (and even more if you want to do footpaws too)

I wish I had sewing skills to speak of but sadly I flunked home ec repeatedly >.> and fursuit stuff costs so much to comission and I'm not much in the wealth department >_>

To me, the medium pile gray smacks as more of a wolf coloring, but hey, that's just the vibe I get from it.

I will say, however, that the cream medium/short pile would look lovely with the dusty orange/ red medium pile.

Also, on a side note, I believe that your chunk of dark chocolate and amber medium pile is exactly the same as the fur I have been using on my own suit. XD

@ Shadow: Thanks Shadow XD my machine gets tempermental,so I've been practising with it  everyso often. And don't feel bad, home ec isn't everyones forte XD Thanks for the input!

@ Kapitan: Imma kick you XD Little trouble maker!

@ Ruby: I do like that idea and I have a large amount of both. I might like to mix the grey in some how...

I wouldn't doubt it Ruby XD It is wonderfully soft. ~ I also had no idea you were working on a suit! Are you taking photos of the process?

Working on a suit? I am Giri, I am indeed. ^.~

Taking pictures? Nah. Don't have the patience for it.
I start working on it, then get engrossed and don't bother to get the camera.
To date, I have a fairly good partial; all four paws, tail and ears.
My head is motly furred, with moving maw, and just needs some finishing stitching to be completed.

I've been procrastinating on completing the head; I just haven't had the time or drive to finish it. XD

For the body suit, I have the pieces cut out, but again, procrastinating. Tongue

Are you looking at doing your own fursona, the eurasian lynx/arctic wolf?

One idea is to draw up the design of the suit in black and white, scan it, and print off a few copies on which to colour in some potential patterns.  That way, you get a full visual of whatever different schemes you might be thinking of.  To narrow it down, pick a few colours of fur that are similar in length and texture, and that you think might possibly work decently together.

Are you able to draw a decent outline of the character design?

Let me know, actually.  I'm curious now.

It's an option, since I never really decided on a colour scheme for my fursona.

I could definately draw an outline. I'll do so in a day or two. I think that may aid me in deciding what to do.

Ah, good.  I was feeling like I should do one for you if you couldn't, but honestly I have very little time lately.  Smiley
