Ah yes! Good point Ren, I almost forgot to give information on some times.
Here's a basic schedule for Vancouver furry events happening each month:1) Monthly Furmeet - The second Saturday of the month 2) Monthly Dinnermeet - The 3rd Thursday of the month (So today!) 3) Game Nights - Each Thursday except Dinnermeet thurs (this includes board games for the most part, no video games) 4) Montly Art Jam - The 3rd Saturday of the month, Tinseltown Mall Food Court That's the basics of it I think. There's a few odds and ends events happening here and there. I believe there was talk of a Swimming event at the Coquitlam rec center every last Saturday as well. |

I'd love to meet with other furs as well, but considering how my parents are and how they are "protective" of me because of my age, maybe I'll give you other animals a heads-up when I'm older. Somewhat new to BC here. Lived here for three years, I'm from Nova Scotia. I've met some of you fine furs already, and its great to have so many around^^ I'm on Van Island, and always up to meeting new furs, so if your in the area, drop me a line :3

Check out http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vfur/messages?o=1 for information as to where the dinnermeet will be. It tends to change every month. I don't see any posts about it yet.... so hopefully someone decides something soon and makes a poll out of it. Just as a heads up recherei, the art jam this month has been postponed till this upcoming weekend on July 26th. If I remember there's another fireworks display that day as well, and we'll probably have a group walking down to the beach area to view them. |

We're currently shifting between Oliver and Kamloops BC for the next few years. There are many more in Penticton who occasionaly frequent the forums, and a few quiet ones back in Oliver.
Hope to meet more of you in person some day. Most of these places really aren't too far apart.
