So some Basic Questions on your Fursona I wanted to ask. (I apoligize if this is Up already.)(Questions stolen from other Furry site hehehe ) How did you come about choosing your fursonna? What about your fursonna name? What do you like about others of your same species? What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix) Well, here goes for me, I'll go first. How did you come about choosing your fursonna?Well it was no easy task, I love all animals to bits and it was hard at first to really choice one that fit me. After months of mucking around with other Fursona types I realised that, just like my Heritage I was a mut, so My Fursona had to be a mix to fit me. Reading up on a lot of animals I realised many kinda fit my personality, but only a few I truely saw myself as. After about 7months of mucking around I found my mix that Truely fited me, a Grey European Wolf mixed with a Red European Fox. I choose the European animals over the Canadian conterparts because all of my Heritage comes from Europe. (Germany, France, Ukraine, Norway, and the British Isles) What about your fursonna name?My name, well that was a Mix of interests. Kapitan is short for Kapitan zur See, which is a German Naval rank. It shows my Love for the Military (Mainly Navy) and my German Heritage. Along with Von, which is a German title name, roughly meaning, "From", or "Lord of". And Finally Wolf, Why I chose Wolf instead of Fox, considering I am a 60/40 spit more to fox, is well agian, Military, many leaders have had the name Wolf, including one of my Favourite Military leaders, General James Wolfe, but I decided to drop the "e". Also with the Wolf Name, was U-boats, which I have a heavy interest in were nicked named "The Wolves of the Sea". What do you like about others of your same species?Well to be honest, many are different, though we all have some Similarities. But one big thing I like about others of the same spieces is that we share common love for that Animal, or see ourself most like that animal. What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix)Can't really say I dislike anything about my speices. I am very Tolorent of many things and even though I clearly speak my mind to people, I will not flat out insult them If I disagree with them, everyone is different, that is what I have come to except.

Thats some neat insight into... well, you Kapitan! ^.=.^ i like this topic idea...
How did you come about choosing your fursona?
Well, i have always had an adoration for dragons, always. I have also had an adoration for flying. so those are two things that DEFINATLY lead me to being a dragon, beyond that, alot of the attributes are very pleasing to me. Being a strong and confident and wise creature, who will fight for what it feels is right. that means alot to me... weird right?
What about your fursonna name?
Well, not everyone know this yet, my name literally means "Fate-Heart of the Dragon". Wyrd, itself is from the "Inheritance Cycle" of books (Eragon, Eldest and Brisinger at the moment) and stems from the "Ancient Language" in the series. So, now knowing the meaning, Why? well, i was in a rough state when i found the fandom, as well as i was in an obsession with the Inheritance Cycle (still am really....) so upon deciding i was a dragon, i felt that "Fate" was a good choice, because "Fate" had in many ways, lead me down this path, so that chosen, i felt that fate... didnt make a good name XD let alone for a strait male ha ha, so i went with a slightly more exotic word, "Wyrd" which directly means "Fate". and i also felt that just being called "Wyrd" or "Fate" would not make a whole lot of sense, so i added "HotD" thus, "Fate-Heart of the Dragon".
What do you like about others of your same species?
Much like the rest of the fandom, very talented ^.=.^ and alot of them actually share a good amount of the same interests and tastes (there are three Dragons in British Columbia that like and own Honda Civics for instance)
What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix)

How did you come about choosing your fursonna?
"Bear" was chosen for me. Or at least, it's what was already there in me. I used to give an old Cree fellah a lift from downtown Athabasca to 9 Mile Corner because it was on my way home and he was a nice guy. Never got his real name (still a regret). He started calling me a bear and taught me a few words of Cree. He told me "Bears protect. They help others."
What about your fursonna name?
"maskwa" is simply the Cree word for "bear". Boring, but accurate.
What do you like about others of your same species?
Generally helpful. If not being helpful, then generally "not hindering".
What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix)
Artistic renderings tend to be caricature. Fat-bears or hyper-muscle-bears seem to dominate. Most of us are just regular guys and gals.

How did you come about choosing your fursona? As a kid, I would sit up and listen to the coyotes near my aunt's farm, their 'music' (as i used to call it) was very beautiful to me. I decided that I was a wolf when playing games with my friends (pretending to be animals as kids was fun), because it fit me better, but still made such beautiful 'music'. What about your fursona name? My friends and I used to write a collaborative story ( http://osa-reimeiki.blogspot.com/) and my character was part of a made up race of human/wolf/hawk hybrids. The name of the race was Daakshi. (which I made up on the spot while writing my chapter) I also go by Teegwa. What do you like about others of your same species? Well, there's so many wolves out there that I can't really figure out if there is any general similarities... What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix) (see above) apparently wolves are very common...

It's so fascinating to read about these stories, they are so interesting ~ my turn!
How did you come about choosing your fursonna?
Well,it's taken me forever to decided on one XD There were several deciding factors to it though, the Erasian lynx lives in both Lithanaia and germany, my heritage, and also closely resembles the canadain lynx. This was super important to me because ,though I adore canada, i was raised in a german/lithanian hosehold.I've always cherished that. Also, certain defining traits of the eurasian lynx resemble my own physical make-up:the body is shorter then the legs, big feet, largest of the lynx's,the head is generally wider and kind of rounder but defined and the fur color matches my hair color. I also have some feline tendancies. As or the artic wolf, well that animal feel so elusive to me,and sort of represents my mothers side of the family, since I never really new her, only looked like her and was told of her. It also represents some of my pariotisum ^^ And then there is the aestitic side,I love wolven profiles and more slender snouts, and I have certain canine/wolven traits. Basically it is a friggen gaint representation of myslef XD It has taken a long while to do XD
What about your fursonna name?
Well, that is sort of up for debate. It can go either by four tags I have: Giri,Mazelina ,Guru and Maze. Or by my middle name, Elizabeth.( A common practice for a lot of older generations)
What do you like about others of your same species?
I know I'm a bit of a random mix,and I suppose I cold say I like the wolven trait of versitility, and I like the Lynx trait of independance.
What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix)
I dislike how broad the wolven species is,and I dislike how many lynx's are portrayed as simply "badass"

Might as well join in. I'm afraid that my answers will probably be boring, though.
How?
I've just always adored felines, domestic cats particularly. For most of my childhood, I wanted to be a cat.
Name?
My name is my fursona's name, because regardless of what I may look like when you meet me, I'm still Ruby on the inside. If I ever finish my ideas and designs for alternate fursonas, I may give them a name.
Like?
Don't know enough housecats to really generalize.
Dislike?
See above. Though, I will say, that I get really irritated by the OMG I'M A KAWAII NEKO CHAN!! AHAHAHAHA!!!
Doesn't happen overly often, but when I meet people who identify as furry and talk like that, I just have to walk away from them.

How did you come about choosing your fursonna?
I always felt it choose me, more then I chose it. I never really thought about thoer fursona until after I was a wolf, I looked into tigers or leopards but they didn't stick. I later did a spirit quest to find my spirit animal, and it was a wolf, then I knew that it was ment to be.
What about your fursonna name?
I had other names in the past, Cobalt, Sapphire, but as I changed the names did too, after a while I didn't have a name just called myself Wolfie, and Handa is just my nickname from my real name Hannah
What do you like about others of your same species?
Wolves, are wolves, all are different just like real wolves in packs.
What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix)
There are so many, but it still makes it fun.

Here is my short fursona description. How did you come about choosing your fursonna?Started out with cat, then a fox, then a viverrid then skunk. Ended up going with a spotted skunk in the end because I think they are adorable + skunks are bad-ass motherf*ckers who don't sh*t from anyone. What about your fursonna name?I honestly can't remember, I think it was back from my old counterstrike days. wish I could say something more interesting, its just a name that I like and stuck with, first time I used it for my fursona was in an online game I played with a playable fox race. What do you like about others of your same species?Haven't met a lot of other skunks to be honest, but the ones I have met seem nice. Really don't know what else to say What do you dislike about others of your same species? (or close to if you are a mix)Well like I said, haven't really met a lot of other skunks (or furries for that matter) so I can't judge anyone without knowing.
