there was a thread on 2 other forums I frequent about what people got for xmas so I thought I'd make one here! I got majorly spoiled (as usual) this year What I Got (between my mom and her boyfriend): A used Samsung 2006 model 19.5" widescreen LCD monitor (need to get a VGA/DVI cable for it though before I can use it), A 14MP new Digi Cam (not the greatest but WAY better than what I had, 5MP HP Crap cam),A wireless keyboard and mouse set,A bunch of candy, a cookie tin, a belt loop watch (fairly nice one), some bathroom sample things (head+shoulders, old spice body wash mini sized things), razor blades for my razor, japanese snack food, toothbrush and toothpaste (lol), 5 t-shirts, pair of jeans, winter hoodie (don't really need it though), pack of underwear (XD), xmas bottle of coca cola, and a 4GB SD card and carrying bag for the camera too. and before anyone says anything, NO EVEN JOKING ABOUT ROBBING PEOPLE OF GIFTS IN THIS THREAD > its not funny and feeds some people's paranoia you know >.> <.< oh and I borrowed 65 bucks from my mom's bf to pick up 2 shiny 50 dollar pairs of Sennheiser 438's (REALLY NICE HEADPHONES) that usually go for 130 locally (had to dip into the rent money but thats okay since the GST comes on the 5th) earlier today on Boxing Day and they're absolutely fantastic <3 so? what did you guys get? and did you all have a wonderful time with family/friends/etc? xmas was a bit rough around the edges for me but it turned out alright in the end.

Well I got this Christmas, - A Real 1986 Soviet USSR Flag! (from my "Adoptive" Grandfather) - A New Watch (much needed! ) (From My Parents) - A Bamboo Writing/Drawing Tablet for the computer. (From "santa") - A Leather Satchel I have had my eye on for the last 2 months (From My Parents) - A All-purpose Tower with 42 on it plus 3 T-shirts of Monty Python quotes from Thinkgeek (From my older Sister) - Lots of German Chocolates and Candies (From my Oma, Uncle Achim & Aunt Dagmar) I kinda got spoiled to, But I think it's because my Parents feel bad that they are leaving me Home alone for 2 weeks while they go to Barbados. I don't mind havin' the house to myself, but I am bummed that I won't get to go to Barbados. I had a wonderful Christmas with my Family (no fighting this year! ). Lot's of good food and games. Hope everyone else had a Satisfactory Non-Denominational Capitalist Wintertime Gift Giving season! .

Um.... I got an ultra-ventral heebiephone, something I've been devoting hours to trying to learn, a pleasantly futile task, as I have the wrong number of mouths. Tight Christmas this year, so other than socks & a harmonica I don't have yet, I did yet one awesome item. A cherry coloured phonograph/cassette/CD player with radio. The whole thing decked out in beautiful cherry coloured wood. This was A) the Christmas where I got the least things. and B) My favourite Christmas in recent memory. Interesting how those two things co-inside.

I KNOW! I can't wait to get it, though it is going to be late. Should have a G sometime in January. I've been folking it up on a C for a while now, but to get that REALLY bluesy stuff going that I want to try my paw at, I really need m'self a G. Heh, it's funny; I can't read music to save my life, so until I got into playing the harmonica, I never for a moment spoke in musical language. Yet now, here I am.
But hey, on a totally different note, a mock snuggy is better than a real one because the snuggy is just an unfinished robe. They forgot to stitch the back up, it's actually a large pullover robe. (^_^) Heh, sorry, can't get that out of my head ever since I first saw it advertised.

Snuggys are just reallly long house coats you wear backwards XD I love my mock snyggy though, fricken warm. It's awesome to snuggle into at night ^^ Thaat is excellent! I have to get a new harmonica, the one I currently have ((admittably of cheaper quality, but useful)) has seen better days.Twas my baby, but it needs to be laid to rest :'C,once I get a better one anyway XD How long have you been playing harmonica? If you were not far across the interwebs,I'd say your harmonica blues should meet with my trumpet

This year I got: Halo reach (stepmoms parents) The opportunity to go to the flames game of my choice (aunt and uncle on my stepmoms side) Sony mdr_v150 headphones(dad, great quality for the price) Money for band shirts (dad) I ended up getting immortal: all shall fall, and finntroll: nattfodd Chocolate(from just about everyone) two scratch tickets (dad) neither were winners Some subway giftcards (I can't remember how much)(dad and step mom) 13 shotglasses for the collection +1 duplicate (mom+grandma) Warcraft: war of the ancients trilogy (bro) WoW: stormrage and WoW: the shattering(mom) Display case for my shotglass collection (grandparents) WoW page a day trivia calendar (mom) A nifty little book about celtic tattoos (mom) Pack of cigs from my uncle (not really a christmas present, but I was out and he knows I'm lacking in the cash department right now) Not sure what I got from my cousins on my dads side, we didn't get out to see them. Secret santa only works when everyone shows up. I think that's everything.
Not the best christmas this year. Everyone was stressed, my mom was fighting with everyone, I'm just starting a new job, my bro is an arse, etc. Let's hope new years goes better.
