If you want to make a big difference and make sure that Furnal Equinox can happen without a hitch... consider becoming one of our many dedicated volunteers!

We welcome anyone as a volunteer, no matter how much experience you have or how much time you can put in - it's a great way to contribute to the success of our event and learn what it's like to run a convention behind the scenes (and might even be your ticket to a staff or concom position someday!)  You'll be helping in a variety of possible roles: setup and teardown, transportation and food runs, logistics and registration, event coordination, or the always-loved gofers!

All of our volunteers receive a special volunteer headband - not only will it be yours to keep even after the convention but it's a great identifier at the event to let us know if you're available to help us out. Not only that, but if you volunteer more than twelve hours, we'll give you a free membership for the con in 2012.

We've developed a volunteer form that allows you to share some information about yourself, so if you'd like to volunteer, fill it out and send it to us! You can also e-mail Twitchy, our volunteer coordinator, at volunteer@furnalequinox.com.

We've updated the Volunteer Page to emphasize some of the key roles that we're specifically looking to fill at the convention, as well as the responsibilities associated with them.
