*looks around at the empty room and lack of new post*

So why? Why is Furry.ca such a ghoast town of late? or I'm just on here to much >.<. but even when I havn't visted in a few days most of the times there was just a murmur. I know Exams are coming up for most of us, but for me it's not till december. Or have we run out of interesting things to say right now? so why is everyone so quiet of late? eh?

The topics are too boring for me to really bother to read or reply to.

"It's quiet... Too quiet" is an old movie cliché.  As soon as you heard that line, you knew something bad was about to happen.  That's also generally the point, where the music turns ominous or threatening, which gives you a secondary clue.

Another cliché is: "The Natives are restless."

*sarcasm* Really? it's an old movie cliché? I hadn't noticed. Ugh I used it becuase I was thinking it was sooo quiet that something bad was going to happen, "like the calm before the storm".

I think the usual routine is to pick topics that are increasingly sexually charged until people pour back in, then talk about the stuff you really want to discuss, and repeat once everyone gets bored again and leaves.

There's something missing. I'm not sure if it's because there's a lot of impersonal generic banter, or if it's because there aren't enough people posting to warrant replies (network effects and all that). I ended up leaving after 2008, but that might have been because I was suddenly busy and I completely forgot this forum existed.
Maybe I should set some email replies.

I think you might be right Aurifer.

I only really frequant these forums, and that has to do with the fact everywhere else isn't friendly. I  have tried to go to others but when I'm just skimming forums people get awfully mean for no reason.

I was in a thread about someone wondering how popular emperor pengiuns were for fursonas and they started talk about they being eltist and all this other garbage.

Though you don't have to worry about that here,I think we just need to create better topics X/

Better topics!? YOU MUST BE ELITIST!

I think our problem is that people don't even think of this forum. Our local group decided they needed a forum, and they just went ahead and created an ad-covered forum at some really odd domain name (myfreeforums). All in all, fairly unattractive.
I'm not sure if we would have been able to get the right permissions and things here, though.

Still, it would be great if we (groups in cities) could each have our own sections for posting events and such.

Besides that, we're going to have to get people we know to visit every day or two.

That is a good idea, and I second the motion .

The problem is, not many of the people I know like the furry fandom, and it's not like you can force them to come on.

Heck I joined to find other furries XD

But do others have a few fandom friends? I'm only one example.
