I think... all the people... and the traffic, and the lack of mountains... This... this isn't Salmon Arm...

What... Surrey? I'm in Surrey?!?!

Halp! Poor, helpless bunny from outta town, all alone, in this big bad city, with all its people, and... well, mostly just a ton of people. Da bunny is scared... and...

Thought he might take a peek on the furry site he used to frequent to see if any friendly Vancouver area furs were worth saying hi to! Cause... I mean, when you fall asleep at the bar in a small town and wake up in somebody's bed in surrey, CLEARLY, the first thing you do is jump on a computer and go lookin for friends in the furry fandom. I mean, whatelse would you do?

Anyway, I just thought I would say Hi here, now that I have clawed my way out of the land of dial up internet and mormons, and send out a greeting to anybody around this part of the world! Having lived in the middle of bloody nowhere for my whole life, I have absolutely no idea what sort of a non-online fandom there is in canada, who anybody is or where the hell the skytrain is taking me next, but I shall fearlessly go where no bunny has gone before! So, if anybody is around and feels like a chat, or isn't around and feels like somebody to talk to, or wants to warn me to get far, far away from Surrey (that seems to be the most common reaction), Feel free to drop me a line, reidc.wallace@hotmail.com or Kell_Iroya@yahoo.com. Still job hunting so online like 24/7 right now, Would love to hear from some interesting local furs!

Used to be a Surrey fur...  now I'm in Langley where the neighborhood watch actually calls the cops instead of just watching people steal your stuff. Tongue

I'm willing to hang out when I'm not working... which pretty much limits me to weekends.

There's actually a massive furry community in Vancouver area.  A few other sites to try: BC Furries, VFur on Yahoo and VAF (Vancouver Area Furs) on Yahoo.  Keep an eye out for furmeets and dinnermeets and stuff.

I wish the old cheesecake meet still existed on Thursdays... I'd tell you to go to that. Tongue

*Purrs*

Glad to hear you're still alive and kicking, Kell.  Smiley

If you get ahold of Davecko, or possibly Kaji, they can likely point you in the direction of a fair amount of furry hangouts and fellows.  If you don't have their emails, PM me and I'll pass them over to you.

So you're back to living the bunny life, eh?  (You switched for a while, didn't ya?)

Glad to hear you're well, and settling in.  Smiley

All the best;

I have always been a bunny... you is just crazy... Tongue

I don't know either of them, but as I'm currently far, far too broke to do anything, I'm not much worried about trying to get doin anythin just this moment anway.

Darn Vancouver area, not hiring bakers!

Ah, you're baking now?  That's all kinds of awesome.

If you're thinking of hitting Howloween this fall, we'll certainly run into you there.  Going to be a pretty incredible turnout this year, with some absolutely superb people showing up.

I most certainly hope I'm still crazy.  You're right, though; I must have had a lapse as I swore you had a brief moment of being a husky or something.

Talk soon;

Given that I'm...

A: Flat broke

B: Have no idea where/when it happens

C: Flaaaaat broke

And D: Just got a job so I won't be able to take any time off for a while yet.

I dout I'll make it, but who knows, I might.
