Hi everyone! My names Jacob. I'm from Vancouver Island, and I'm new to the world of furry. I won't go into too much detail about myself, but I'll fill you in on some tidbits! I have just recently the past year and a half started accepting myself as a 'furry' or at least having a strong interest in the furry fandom. I first heard about it while at an Anime Convention about 2-3 years back, and saw a large border collie dancing around. I didn't think anything of it. My friend whom I was explaining this to a couple weeks later laughed and said "OH! A furry!" .... "A what?" Anyways, from that moment on I was secretly fascinated. I was fortunate enough to befriend other furrys and now here I am. I just got my first fursuit (which happens to be a blue & white border collie) and have started a website for Island furrys (check out my profile for link). My ultimate goal is to meet new friends and hopefully meet up and have some get-togethers. I don't bite, so don't be afraid to add me to msn! Wow, I just moved from Duncan about a year ago up to Victoria!
Hope you have fun there, I found it quite a lonely place....though Victoria hasn't been any better sadly. Maybe I'll see you around when I visit my family?

Welcome. Your suit kinda resembles Blooski, though I guess it's mostly the colours.
Does anything interesting go down on VI with regards to events/fur meets and such? It's pretty dead over on this side of the country :P

I just did a search for blooski on the internet. Wow! Blooski looks like my twin. That's really cute!!
It's very quiet on the island for furs. I'm working to find the islandfurs and get regular meetings going again. We have a website going now at least, so that's a good start. As for any meets coming up, there's anime evolution in vancouver. There are a crew of us planning to meet up there. Should be a blast!
