I play the Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, some Violin, some Piano, and some Guitar. I also own a Recorder and a Fife (and it's so cute!).

Kiyara: LUCKY! i always wanted to learn the Violin, but my Sisters show "more" talent in music and got first pic in all that stuff. She only got that because she GOT all the INSTERMENTS, all I got were the Drums. and i had to Give them up to make room in the moving van for my Sister's Piano! Snarl

I wish i played that many isterements, your so lucky  Smiley

Lol awwwe! Thanks Kapitan! I think you're lucky because you got to play the Drums. Drums are so cool! I think you are very amazing and talented because you can play the Drums!
Maybe someday I can teach you how to play more instruments, that would be so cool, don't you think so? :-D

Awwwwwe! I'm sorry about your drums...can you get another set? :-(

Flute is really hard to learn, and Trumpet looks hard too lol! Clarinet is okay..but it squeaks a lot.

You should totally join a Band in your area, then you could play whichever instrument you wanted, right? I think that'd be neat...and I'd still teach you whichever instrument you want :-)

Plus i Dont have the Money, Need a Job. But i cant find one i Like. and there is NO WAY Im working at a Fast-food place. All i Have For a Job, Is volunteering At The Military Museum, Keeps Me Busy Smiley. So Far i Havent heard from anyplace that I have sent a resume.

Oboe! I've always loved the sound of oboes, but the volume has always kept my self-conscious self from attempting to learn any wind instruments so far (yet strangely, I was okay with learning drums on an acoustic kit).

Just realized this thread would be a great place to show off this video, what with all the multi-instrumentalist talk:

Multi-instrumentalist improv stuff

I put that one together when I still had all my instruments (I recently sold most of them since I'm going traveling later this year). Smiley

The Oboe is a really neat instrument, hard to play though, but I agree, the sound is amazing! I'm sure you can play a wind instrument! Be confident, I know you can do it! :-)

Oooooh! I love your music! You're AMAZING!!!

My turn! :-D I arranged a song for my school Band to play when I was 17 or 18. I did it all by ear (listening to recordings and arranging it lol).

If you go to www.calindy.ca (yeah yeah, I have a weird real name) and click on "Calindy's Conducting Debut" you'll be able to watch it! ^_^

Bass is really fun, and has the added bonus that anyone who looks good with a guitar generally looks 10x cooler slingin' a bass Wink (especially long-scale basses slung low, there are few things sexier than that in the realm of music)

Bass is a handy thing to know, you get a good understanding of scales and where notes are, plus it keeps the rhythm of the song!

I have a full drum kit, which I can play quite well, so long as I have someone to play with, and I have an LTD 5 string bass that I'm slowly learning how to play.  I have more fun on the drums though, because it serves as anger management.  Make lots of noise! Yeah, I feel better. Tongue
