I've seen it all. So far my favorite's been Vancouver. It makes Toronto seem like a hole in the wall.

I'm a VI fur myself, and I've been across country to a little hic town in northern Ontario more times than I can count.
Often in a car.
With my family.
In summer.
>.<
Anyhow, my favorite place to be is, amazingly enough, right here on VI. Born and bred island chick. XD

I have lived on Vancouver Island my entire life, I really love it here... aside all the retirees... >.=.>...... Definitely the best climate for the most part! and got the most captivation scenery, where else in Canada can you literally stand high up on a mountain and look right below ya and see the ocean XD (use to scare me as a child cause I always worried about driving clear off of one of the corners on the Malahat Highway and sailing a a few hundred feet till I either smashed/ impaled on trees or coasted right into the water lol)
The furthest I have ever traveled in my life sadly is Saskatchewan, XD and that was only cause my mate live out there, it was an....interesting... place. I like where he lived cause it was in a nice outta the way place so you didn't have to worry about like, annoying loud stuff or having your car broken into. But I would never move there. They got some of the mostly grumpy stuck up people I have ever seen, and their drivers are impatient, rude, and couldn't take a corner to save their lives XD

nice to see how many of you have seen this GREAT land of ours. THATS AWSOME!!! *raises Paw into air* And now I ask whats the most Breathtaking sight you've seen in Canada? For me, yet agian I return to the West Coast. I was 7 and my Parents took me to a small beach on Vancouver Island, And after about an hour the was a pod of orca's that came really close to the beach. It was so awsome I can remeber it still like it was yesterday! So what is your most breathtaking experience in canada?

I was born in Tofino on the sunshine coast, lived in Vancouver for the first few years of my life, and then moved to Ottawa and spent ten years there (specifically the suburb of Orleans). I've also seen Hull in Quebec, and saw PEI and New Brunswick when I was younger. I've never been to the Canadian "sandwich", i.e. Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba. I've also spent the last almost ten years living in Nanaimo, on Vancouver Island, but I'm aching to move somewhere else. This town is just so bloody boring sometimes (and yeah, I know you Port Alberni furs are gonna throw things at me for that). Beautiful beaches and sunsets, however, and lots of fodder for a nature photographer to explore. On the Island, I've been to many places (pretty much every city/town to the south of here, and then up to Qualicum and Port Alberni up through the sunshine coast, though I haven't been further north, i.e. Port Hardy).
My favorite is, without a doubt, Victoria. It's a truly beautiful city, and in my opinion, much friendlier and a much better size than Vancouver.

-chucks some gas money at Dru-
Head this way then, if Nanaimo's boring you. ^.~
For me, poor, small town chick that I am, the most breathtaking sight has always been seeing Port from one of the two lookouts, at night. The untainted pitch black, the endless star scape above with the tiny, lighted anthill of humanity below...it's just beautiful.

I would have to say my favorite place in my home province, Newfoundland. I've been living in Ontario for about 11 years now and haven't been back, due to my fear of flying T_T. But I miss it so much. I love it there, especially love being near the ocean ^_^.

Driven cross country twice. Both coasts are beautiful in their own special ways, but in my opinion, nothing compares to British Columbia's Mountains. :3
Though for quality of life, I would say the Annapolis Valley in Nova Scotia was excellent, though a little to quiet. Coastal Vancouver Island would take the cake for the adventure category without question. :3

I've pretty much been from coast to coast, or close to it. I was fairly young, maybe four or five, when my family took a trip out to New Brunswick. Saw the ocean out there, of course. I've been to several places in Quebec... and I've seen a lot of Ontario, from Windsor, to Ottawa and from Ganonaque to Moosonee. Ontario's a gorgeous province when you take the time to have a good look around it. I've flown over the prairies on the way to Edmonton... and from Edmonton took the Greyhound bus up to Whitehorse, Yukon. The mountains have a very dramatic allure to them, naturally... and being in the Yukon is like taking a step back through time. For the tourist industry, they've preserved a fair bit of the goldrush era's mystique, which makes for a fascinating trip. There's still a lot of Canada left for me to see someday though. I'll make it sometime. Benjamin

Well...
- I was born in Moncton, NB.
- Have been west to Calgary, Banff and I *think* beyond there, but considering I was an infant at the time, it doesn't really count.
- Been east several times with my family to visit my birthplace, the places around there, and even a trip across to PEI *just* before they finished construction on the Confederation Bridge.
- Several years ago I was in residence in Newfoundland for a month... one of the things I got to do was actually go all the way east to Cape Spear (the easternmost point in North America).
So yeah. A decent fraction of the country overall, but I really wouldn't mind going west again.
