Being an SLR, it has mirrors in it, chances are the Mirrors are out of alignment, i would recommend taking it to a camera repair shop and get them to align the mirrors and do some regular maintenance on it too ^.=.^ looks quite similar to my Pentax K1000

And my Pentax ME Super...  Well, kinda sorta... X3

Drewdle the wolf is going to need new pants when he see's your camera, Kaptain. It's totally awesome. Also, sorry, I wouldn't know what to recommend to fix that problem. Wyrd's advice seems pretty solid, plus all camera's need some TLC at one point or another. :3
Mayhaps also check the film advance... :/

I also had this problem with my camera a few times, but it turned out that I wasn't loading the film properly. ^^;

When you get it working, post some pictures! :3

Np ^.=.^ these old aluminum body cameras are bullet proof, so they usually just need adjustment.

it is a range finder they are next to impossible to break it could be the shutter in the lens in that case you will need a new one.
