Fur Party in Victoria

Hey there, all;

I'll be flying into Victoria for a period of time on work-related business, most likely around March 9th to 12th, give or take.  I should know for certain by next week sometime.

Anyways, I'll have a hotel room paid for, and lonely nights to myself, so if anyone would like to have a little get-together at the hotel you're absolutely welcome.  Of course, not everybody and his dog are invited, but I generally know most of you, and as long as you understand that we can't trash the place or get too out-of-hand, I'd be happy to partake in a bit of a gathering.  Alchohol can certainly be involved, as well as games if anyone has any to bring.  No drugs, though.  (I do need to work the next day, after all.) 

Feel free to drop me a line if you're free and able to get out here; I'm not sure exactly where in Victoria it'll be yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I do.

Oh, cool! Would love to hang out whether a gathering happens or not (though I suspect it will ). I actually work from 5pm-ish until midnight on the 10th and 11th (Wednesday and Thursday), but before that or any time on the 9th and 12th I'm free. Victoria's actually a relatively small area so I'm sure I'd have no trouble getting there.

Heh.  I didn't know it'd be so soon, either.  They basically told me that if it worked for me, they'd ship me up there straight from Calgary on my way back from Furnal Equinox.  I suppose I'll be there at least a few days for that week; I should know most of the details by Monday so I'll let everyone know.

TJ's apparently gone on the 11th, so I'm aiming to get together sometime before that.  Mabye I'll aim for the 9th, then..

Wow, it would be great to see you again!  I can totally come over if you decide a date.  9th is free, work till 9ish on 10-11, 12th is free in evening.  Hope I can come see ya!  I live only 10 mins from downtown,you could totally come over for supper if ya liked.

Haha, I couldn't find this thread again for the life of me.  That's what I get for putting it in the wrong section. 

Anyways, it looks like they've put this on hold for now; they want to sort a few things out before they send me to Victoria, so they've cancelled it for this coming week.  Apologies; I would have liked to see everyone again.

I'm likely still coming up in the near future, but I'll post again once I find out the firm dates.'
