Well, I'm almost done my tabby fursuit. 1st fursuit ever, yay!  I can finally be cool at furmeets!  *giggles*

Its a mixture of pieces which is cool as I can switch out the paws/tail/head/ears and even the top/bottom.  Lady Serpent made me the tail, hand & feet paws, and ears which I love.  I altered a child's halloween costume to make the body.  Luckily since I'm a tabby the stripes made the costume my size.  I have a shirt & pants style suit to make the body after the sewing cause i figured it would be cooler & easier to go to the bathroom.  The pants have a drawstring & snap all the way down the front.  The shirt is cut open down the front & a panel of white fur is snapped over the slit.  This allows the whole suit to open in the front from neck to crotch...so yes it can be naughty...and the pants can, I guess, slide down in the back too. *blushes* kitty was way too bored & inventive while making this... I also have a small facial mask covered in matching fur, along with a cat nose & paints cause the only thing i have close to a fursuit head is a full front tiger mask.

Its not the cutest thing...and kinda mis-matched with the fur...and kinda baggy. But I love it in all its fluffy glory as my 1st suit!!

I'll attach some pics soon.  Gotta finish the last few snaps on the front panel.

Smiley Well, I got my mom to take some pics...they aren't very good, but I'll try to get some standing front & back ones later.  Hopefully I attached the photos properly...

p.s. Since I forgot the mask, I just drew what it looked like in, didn't include the kitty-muzzle/paints.

That looks spectacular for a first time! I'm pretty sure it must be loads more comfortable than a full mask too, I'd imagine. I hope mine turns out that great!

Yeah it is, plus I can make noises & eat still.  I tried a mask, but I need to wear my glasses or I crash into walls, plus its soo hot.  Which head method are ya using?  Remember to post pics of yours! Yay for kitties

I'm planning on whipping together something with a balaclava and some foam, maybe get a working jaw too, but I'm not sure how effective that'll be.

I'm actually going the extra mile and airbrushing my fur. Ocelot fur is abysmal to get as far as stock fur goes, and it doesn't really work anyways, especially when it's all even and not patterny.

Cheesy I'll make sure to post pics when I'm done it, or in the course of constructing it.

That is an awesome first suit, AlanTabby. I especially like the stripes. *paws at the soft fursuit*
