None of my family knows, I tried bringing up the subject to my mom but she thought that Furries were wierd people who are a problem to society... so I didnt continue to tell her I was a furry.
Only one of my friends know, and she thought i was wierd, then laughed, and said "Now it all makes seens!"

Well at least Im not keeping a "big" secret... Now how do i tell my Mother and Father?!? any advice on breaking the ice? Two years i kept this from my friends and family and now im opening up... dang Buddhism got me

being young sucks Yes, It does. But at the same time, So does being old... Me, the age im at (transition) i see the pros and the cons, and right now... I wish I was younger, And i also wish i was older... Hate to burst your bubble bro but im 22 and even when you pay own bills, own a car, have your full license and pay taxes.... you still don't seem to get any respect from people... early 20s is that age everyone expects you to be a mature adult and to be a model citizen, but at the same time they turn around and talk down to you like your some kid and give you nothing back. (and people wonder why I have sociopathic and non-conformist tangents ) The attitude I see from most people usualy goes like this "there is no time for fun, you gotta burn the candle at both ends and burn the midnight oil" pretty much a way of telling you to "grow up" and turn into another one of these spherical bodied 40-somethings who kinda just shamble along from day to day with that dull look in their eyes from wearing themselves out.

I couldn't agree with you more.
And there are also the people that bitch and moan about how our generation have no common sense or respect for our elders, no morals, no shame, yadda yadda yadda, yet they give you dirty looks if you offer to help them when they are struggling.
I really don't get it.

I really don't get it. Oh hell I have gotten dirty looks for no reason, I think most people who grew up in the 80-90s have a bit more sense then they are given credit for, the general older population just seems to have grown up in that age where you gotta pass judgment on a book based by its cover, take my mate, sweetest and most considerate guy I have personally know, but he's a metal head, wears a fedora, wears black clothes and has a goatee, old people give him dirty looks and annoying stares all the time. >.=.< (it doesn't bug him, but it irritates the shit outta me that people don't have the damn decency to not stare like senile cows) And these are the people I am suppose to make way for and always give my respect to when they seem to have none for anyone else and talk down to the younger gens a whole. *chuckles* I think its time to bring back an old Eskimo stereotype and start up the ol ice flows again XD lol

My family is accepting of just about anything, and know I'm a weird kinda kid,but aren't really aware of my furriness. My sister may know at least a little, since an old friend of mine was fursuiting (( and we ended up reconnecting after this)) and my sis saw her once me and my friend had stopped talking. She was kinda laughing, and said "theres some person dressed as a fox." My reply was " yea I know, she's my friend, and a husky " XD So though she was confused, she may have an idea on it now XD
I will end up telling them one day,my friends half-know as well, but I'm keeping it on the down low right now. They'll probably realize once I make a fur -suit,which may not be too weird to them since they have classified me as a "maker"
