Okay, its not furry artwork, but I got some old film developed and wanted to put them up, as some of them have some furs from the forum in them. I used my Canon EOS 35mm and my Pentax Super ME for these. When using digital, I like to use post editing programs, however with film I like to leave the pictures the way they are. To me, it kind of defeats the pourpous of using film. But it doesn't really matter as its still processed and corrected by computer anyways. Tongue

The things I would do for a darkroom of my own... XD

Woo! My first long exposure on my pentax 35. Taken at 2:00AM ^^

Morning after Howloween 2009.

Some are more awake then others... >.>

Seph and Gnosis.

Kyle looks pretty dead. Can't remember if this is morning or evening...

"Roger that rubber duck, looks like we've got us a convoy" XD

I really love this one. Props to Wula! :3

The mascot for Wilde Youth; A program for Gay/Lesbian/Transgendered teens that Amanda and I volunteer with.

This isn't just pointless consumption of alchohol dammit, its for SCIENCE!

"He is the most interesting man in the world. He doesn't always drink beer, but when he does, he prefers Dos Equis."

The sky was a great colour that evening. ^^

Amanda's Canine Companion, Darcy.

Taking a walk down the tracks.

Went out to a lake way up in the mountains. By this summer, I hope to explore all the lakes in the area. I think there is around 70 of them.

From the center of the lake.

I would kill to have a place like this cabin. XD

The fog started to roll in as the sun passed behind the mountains.

The film ISO was way too low, me thinks. I still like how they turned out though. :3

I hope to have more film developed soon, but thanks for taking a look. :3

Gorgeous shots, TJ!  There's really something about traditional film that gives it a unique, realistic flair.

The shots of Amanda and pup are just lovely..  Also, the stars in that first one are quite unbelievable!  Really puts you in perspective when you see a sky like that.

Fun shots of the crew; I didn't realise there were other pictures of Howl kicking around.  XD

Thanks so much for sharing.

I'm particularly fond of the "Science" picture, as I know who that is, and it makes sense Tongue

*nods* Digital photography is a lot like Star Trek: The Next Generation. In many ways, its superior, but will never be as recognized as the original.~ heh, Waynes World quote  Tongue
Thanks for the comment, Seph. :3

Hahaha, the only science I remember him doing that night was testing the effects of Jager bombs and screwdrivers to his internal functions... and the liquor won that battle. XD

Thanks Shnell! :3 And Amanda's dog says "woof", which I think means "thanks".  Tongue

Looks like some good times captured in the memory of photos. It makes me want to do some camping again in the mountains. Awww I can't wait for summer again!

Yeah, I need to save that, even though I don't know where TJ's quote comes from. Smiley

Also, your pictures are awesome TJ, but the film is either pretty old, or the developer they're using where you got it done is a little off chemistry. Hence the lightness/lack of contrast. Nothing you could have done to prevent it though.

AMAZING picture from the centre of the lake. Can we go there in the summer?

Woo! Image dump! Yarr!!! (Okay, so now I'm apparently a pirate.)

On a plane, flying to Edmonton from the cold and flat northern yonder.

At the park I worked at in the summer. This is my favorite tree in the park. C'mon, It looks badass! :3

I love how dark and gloomy this one turned out to be.

Another misty day in the forest.

The flooding this winter was pretty intense. The water level is probably 6 feet higher then normal in this shot. :/

The Martin Mars Water Bombers. Went for a paddle on the lake, and checked out the bomber base. Its really neat to watch them take off and land. :3

Just to kinda show the size of these. The Martin JRM Mars AKA The Flying Tankers are the largest water bombers in the world. Originally designed as an allied aircraft during the second world war as a long range patrol craft. Only seven were built and these two were re-fitted as Water Bombers to help fight forest fires. They are most effective at initial response, however they can pick up up to 7,200 gallons of water in less then 4 minutes, and can also carry an additional payload of 600 gallons of foam concentrate, which is an additive they use to help fight fires. Out of the 7 aircraft, only these two remain. The rest were either scrapped or downed. Just thought I'd share that... thought it was pretty cool. :3

"We don't go there anymore..."
This used to be the way we would take to go swimming at the Petroglyphs on Sproat Lake in the middle of the night. Now it can only be accessed by foot.

On top of the Petroglyphs. God damn, I love film! To me, this looks like a really old picture that one would find in a dusty old photo album. :3

More to come, thanks for the comments on the previous pictures! :3

I bought that film at Wal-Mart, and got it developed there. The lab techs at the one in town couldn't tell a Star Destroyer apart from a Star Fleet Federation Vessel if their lives depended on it. My point that I tried to make using an analogy that made absolutely no sense is that they suck at photo developing there. :/

Next time you guys are in Port, we'll take both canoes up to that lake and we'll go for a paddle. It is a really neat lake. :3

Wow TJ, you're doing really well with your photography! I especially like the second one...very nicely done. People and animals are difficult to get at the same time Tongue

Shnell: Sure thing, I'll add you to msn and I'll send it on over. Totally glad you like it, yo! :3

Disel: It can be a little difficult. I have a lot of photos that didn't turn out just because she is always moving, but I'm glad this one turned out and that you like it. She was distracted by a boat on the lake, so I think thats how I got the shot. haha. Her name is Darcy. :3

Rune: I know, this one didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped, but I kept it for that exact reason. XD

Thanks for taking a look Kapitan! :3

Disel: Wow, I didn't know canines could be born with dwarfism. Thats pretty interesting. Still, thats a pretty name. Darcy is a pure bred Belgian Shepherd and is a little over four years old I believe. :3

That made me laugh when i read it. I've been called a lot of things, but never a Belgian Shepherd, I wonder if that makes me a weird cross breed now..

TJ, Where are thoes falls? they look familar, they look like the ones comming off the glaiser lake near Woss, the second one mostly.
