I found this old poem i did a looong while ago.  made some minor edits to it cause i wasn't exactly the best writer back then XD  but this one has some pretty heavy sentiments to it.  or at least it did, looking at it now i feel different, but it's still pretty cool i guess.  It's titled "Clean Sheets" and i have no idea why D;  I'm not sure what i'd call it now though, speaks for itself.  Enjoy it.

She looks at me, I look away.
A stare I’ve never felt before, cold and uninviting
Is it love she’s staring through?  Could this be the pain she’s always felt?
Her whole life taking a breath in never to exhale,
Her whole being taking in the sights, sounds, and colors
Of a pale mirror that reflects nothing but existence.

One drop…

I can see her clearly

Two drops…

She’s fading

The third hits the very ground I stand on,
And shakes the earth to its lonesome core,
Heartbroken I cautiously walk away.

One drop…

She can see me clearly

Two drops…

I can disappear for a while

The third falls on my sleeve,
Where my heart lay in jagged pieces;
Trembling.

Fear awoken inside the two of us, dividing one,
Uniting a sense of empathy that claws away my nerves little by little.
I knew it would, however, never in my wild eyed dreams could I see it to be true.
Not for me, Not for her.

One drop…
Two drops…
Three drops…

The black in her eyes slowly begins to devour the light,
There can be no god tonight.

I embrace my desire to feel the rhythm, to feel connected enough to step aside and weep like a widow to feel inspired, to fathom the power,to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain, to swing on the spiral of our divinity and still be a human.

Very interesting words..

Do the drops speak of blood?

The only thing I'd critique is to throw a dash between 'wild-eyed'.  Nothing else, really.  It's interesting as written.  Flows well.  Speaks to me of an ex-love, but I couldn't say for certain.

Thanks for sharing.
