Okay guys, I know a lot of you have been waiting for this! The hall we were trying to get has been rented for December 5th! A Saturday! This will be the first time we use a hall to celebrate our Christmas gathering, and, it being so early in December, we got it hands down cause... well.. no one else has booked Christmas gatherings there yet! The Hall is $50 for the evening, and, they'll be leaving the kitchen open for us to use as well, which come sin handy for the potluck! Please note, we must remove all garbage from the premises, and ensure the kitchen is clean before we leave! The garbage can be brought back to my place and we'll get it picked up with ours... Anywho... as the place is $50, donations would be greatly appreciated! Note, there will be no gift exchange/stealing this year, one less thing for you guys to spend money on, which, is always nice, especially for those of us saving up for a move, or, needing travel money to get here to join us, or, those many students among us as well. Out of towners, you are VERY VERY welcome to come! We are all furs, and, we are all welcome to celebrate together! Smiley

Okay, as I said, it is a potluck, and, everyone is asked to bring something to share with the gang. Couples can bring one thing instead of two, as every year we end up with far to much food left over. Liquor is allowed, but please drink responsibly, and clean up your bottles. I will be trying ot get what i need to make jello shooters again this year, green and red ones! If you need some ideas of what to bring; Chips, Dips, Salads, Crackers and Cheeses, Meats, snack foods are the best, though heated foods are okay too like Wings, as there is an oven in the hall we are allowed to use. Also, drinks like juice or pop, or even bottled water. (I'll be bringing a bunch of bottled water due to the Stepmania setup.))

We will have a number of things to do, aside from sitting around just chatting, we will have a Stepmania machine set up. My Xbox will be loaded with Stepmania, which will include all DDR, ITG, MGD, and many custom songs as well! HuskyB is kind enough to bring his soft pad for the xbox for us, we will need just one other. I also believe Dyrik has volunteered his television for it, and I will be bringing my surround sound for it. There will also be a laptop to play movies with my large screen monitor for better viewing and maybe the speaker system from my computer to boost the sound for that.

Now for more details! These are the very important ones...
What?: Sudfurry Xmas Gathering 2009
Where?: 3088 CLAUDE STREET http://maps.google.ca/maps?q=3088%20CLAUDE%20STREET%2C%20sudbury%20ontario&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wl
When?: 4pm Saturday, December 5th
Why?: To keep our annual Christmas Tradition going and to have a good time!
How?: Any way you can!

Note: You are responsible for your own sleeping arrangements! I have room for only a few, and, that space is filled.

Have any more ideas for games and such? I do have a poke set that would be fun to bring if people like poker! I also have a drinking chess set, though, bit leery about bringing that one along. Any more ideas, please share! If we can find another light weight television, we can even set up something for shooter games perhaps.

What I'd like from you guys is t post here and rsvp, so I can get an idea of who is able to make it, and maybe what people plan on bringing. I know some people do not check the forums so, won't be completely accurate, but always good to get an idea of what I am dealing with! Smiley

Hope to see you here!

I have been waiting for this! I'm probably going to be able to do the same thing as last year, visit the parents in St. Charles and borrow the truck to make it the rest of the way there. =3

I'll have room for 1 or 2 in the truck on my drive in from St. Charles (Warren area) to Sudbury, so if anyone needs a lift to or from I should be able to accommodate in the Ranger.

Potluck! Not really sure what to bring, maybe Cheesy Garlic bread because it tastes good and can be made on a budget! Can bring some soda too. :3

Looking forward to seeing some old and new faces again this December!
