I am so there!!! I'm actually rather fond of Cambell's soup. The beef flavours have always seemed a tad suspicious, though...
Two things:
First, this reminds me of that Rugrats episode where they were bent on eating dog food for some inexplicable reason.
Second, when I move out, I am so stocking my cupboards with pet dishes instead of bowls.

Wow. This made me realize that Chunky really is alot like dog food I eat this stuff, and I like it. I warm it up in a pot though, and it becomes more stew-like when it's warmed up. But yeah, when you slide it out of the can, it comes out in one piece, which kinda reminds me a cranberry sause in a can...or dog food.

Just wait until the company that does the Puritan stews starts putting those in pull-tab cans. Oh, we'll be in for it then. Benjamin

I wouldn't be surprised if Campbell's Soup and Science Diet were in fact made next to each other on an assembly line somewhere. Hence the transfer, and possible sharing of ingredients.
@ Grace: Pet dishes is a cool idea. I'd have some for fun, not for all the time.

If someone has a decent video camera I will do a video review of both Campbells and a can of dog food at the same time and show how well they compare in every department. I can help in that department. YouTube, here we come. Seriously, though; we should get together before I leave at the end of December. In all honesty, when we had that dog here for awhile, we had these 'breath buster' cookies and they smelled pretty fantastic. So, I tried one, and they were actually decently good. The only reason I wouldn't have explored further into this genre is because they likely have a lot of less-than-healthy preservatives in dog treats. I did eat a cooked squirrel once, though. AMAZING. ..Rather nutty taste, but that's not entirely surprising.

Dog (and cat) food will sometimes have rendered euthanized pets ground in. The blood isn't even drained. I wouldn't be surprised if Campbell's did the same.

lol, sounds tempting but no thanks. I'm human enough to realize that I never can really be a dog physically. And mentally, I don't have the guts to do it.

Ham soup would be awesome, if it were in cheese. :3 But, that's Chef Boyardi Ravioli.

Alleycat, that's a wonderful expression. Also, that bowl doesn't look very weird, as I thought it would, considering it's technically a person eating from it.

I already eat puritan meat balls with my gf from time to time. She loves them. I think they smell like dog food personally, but I'll still eat 'em XD *shrug*

Considering I'm a cat, eating from a dog bowl, it actually took me a good 30 minutes to wrap my head around actually doing it. I had to keep telling myself, it's just a bowl. It was the only kind of bowls in the house at the time, as I was in a canine furhouse.

Maybe if they had a dog bowl without bones painted all over it. No need to feel humiliated though; You're cultured in some strange way. I also adore that facial expression.
