Well i decided to post this again, because yet another version has been done of it. This time it was done in a studio my friend just opened up that runs entirely off of the program Ableton Live 7. This version: harmonies/bass. If i ever make it big i swear i'm gonna release a CD with this single and it's hundreds of different versions lemme know what you think. (either again, or for the new faces, be honest) http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1323779/

Damn, you've got some real musical talent. Was everything in the song done by you?
Now, having said that, it sounds like your actual recording techniques need a bit of work. It's especially noticeable when you pronounce letters like "p" and "b". There's also a bit of static here and there, but nothing so bad that it detracts from the overall song.
It also sounds kinda familiar. I swear I've heard that exact same tune you use in the intro before, and I'm sure this is the first time I heard your song.

People tell me that the intro reminds them alot of the song Schism, by tool. adam jones has been an incredible influence on my guitar playing, so my style often sounds like his. however, that riff has been around for a looong time, i came up with the intro riff like 3 or 4 years ago. Posted it once under the name "thinking deeper" somewhere on the internet. I'm playing the guitar, doing both vocals. My guitarist is playing backing (it's very faint, needs to be brought up in the recording), and my bassist is doing the bass. I was the first to use his studio, so there's some kinks he needs to work out he also needs to get a pop filter. thanks for the kind words

People tell me that the intro reminds them alot of the song Schism, by tool. Well damn; I'd better listen to it in that case. >>Listens<< Oh, yea. Hah, I do remember that one. And it definately reminds one of Schism, mostly in the opening guitar notes. Here's that song for those who might not have heard it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhjG47gtMCoI do think this version has more solid vocals than the last. The guitar plucking around 1:20 into the song works very effectively and it's surprising that you get so much musical definition with only one guitar. (That is one guitar?). The chorus around 2:40 is, again, gorgeous vocal work. Keep it up, mate. Always happy to hear the re-vamped versions. Cheers, -Lady Serpent

mhm, it's one guitar for that breakdown. The picking pattern gives it a nice "hypnotic" effect. Thanks for the kind words.
