I'm a writer of sorts. I mostly write poetry, but I'm in the process of writing a novel that has it's current deadline at July 1st 2010. I estimate it to be around 100-150 pages excluding character descriptions. The purpose of the novel is to describe the background of my fursonas to a full, this means it has a storyline of 37 years. I realize that it's a bloody long project, but the characters do have a quite complicated story to go with it. The story will be rated NC-17, so I will not be giving examples of it directly, sorry. I hope to make some PG-13 rated examples later on, might be some passages in the text that are clean enough to do so. xD
As for the poetry part, I will be posting some examples here.

This one I have enjoyed writing and reading afterward. Originally, I wrote it for personal uses, but I found it to be so neutral that it may as well fit any being. I give you
Lusts.
They can't
They won't
They don't
Even know
I can't
I won't
I don't
Ever show
The hunger lurks
Under my skin
The twisted perks
The lusts within

This one is quite personal, as you may figure. I use poetry as a way to deal with problems, thoughts and to generally function a bit better in everyday life. I give you
Chains.
If life is a joy, then how come we throw it away?
If life gives experience, then where are my words to say?
In this life, how much has even changed?
In my time, have I created anything but chains?
Somehow it's certain, that I will forget about this world.
Somehow I know, that my path will remain this curled.
If I could, would I then relive my days?
If I could, would I then change my ways?
I ask questions, but where can I find my truth?
I ask for freedom, but who will make my chains loose?
It all seems dark, like everything is fading away.
But when I die, I hope to ask for one more day.
One more day to awaken my memories.
One more day to fulfill my deeds.
Will I ever know the truth?
