Hello, from Langley BC. I am a Tuxido cat, with the occasional top hat when I feel like showing off. Normally I just wear a black cap, which I've 'installed' studs into the beak. I normally also wear all black, or close to it, because I don't really like light or colourful clothing. I play drums, I just started learning Bass, and I used to play a little guitar when I was in high school, many many years ago (in a land far far away) ... I make plastic tubing for a living currently, drive oversized forklifts, and live alone in a two bedroom basement suite. I enjoy playing or listening to music, mostly Metal or Rock, and I have my share of games that I play. I also have a character on SecondLife. I also have lots of knowledge of how computer and electronics hardware works, and I make a fair amount of my own repairs on my own, as well as others equipment. I used to fix and repair laptops and desktop computers for a living for a couple years. Before that I was a senior service representative at Compaq, which merged with HP just as my training finished up, causing my training to become twice as long. It was fun, but I didn't feel like moving to India to keep my job. There's so much more to say about myself, but if I keep going, I'll have a few pages of reading, and it'll turn into tldr. So, I'll leave you with this, I'll say that I'm pleased to be here, and look forward to meeting others and making more friends. *waves a paw*

Well hey there, mate; Welcome to the boards. Thanks for the detailed intro; it's always much more interesting to read a little bit about someone from an intro post. Langley, eh? You're certainly not alone; there are a lot of furs around here from that area, and a lot more from BC. My grounds are more oriented in the South Okanagan area, but we're up your way quite often. So how did you end up finding yourself a tuxedo cat? Welcome aboard; -Lady Serpent

Well, it started from Loony Toon's Sylvester, and Felix The Cat, Final Fantasy 7's Cait Sith, and then my cousin had a tux cat named Sponky... who liked to clean earwax out of your ears, clean your armpits, clean behind your ears, between your toes... acted like a ragdoll when you picked him up... jumped in the shower with people.... and I've seen many other types of cats in my lifetime, but I've always admired the look of the tuxido cat.
I actually started in the furry fandom with blue and white, but with no white on the face... but after maybe eight years of this, I wanted something that looked more natural... lifelike... so I went back to the black and white.
My name did not come from Felix the Cat. I simply stole one of my ancestor's names from Scotland.

Welcome! Drums, eh? Cool! I play music as well. I actually mistook 'langley' for 'langford' (here in Victoria on the island), shame. Definitely looking for musical furs to jam with. ~Josiah

My drums are at my sister's house anyways. When my truck's on the road though, and the canopy's on it, I can stop in for a jam session, no probs. But chances are, that'll be next year. I've got a load of dental work to do, and I have no coverage.

Vancouver Island Fur here, however we just lost one of our finest to the mainland. Wanted to get off the island I guess... Always good to see music-bound furs, I'm looking into drums myself, but won't be able to try until I get some money.
Are you going to Howloween in Surrey? If so, it would be cool to meet'cha!
And of course, welcome to the forums! The exits are located here...here... and here. In the event of an emergency, there is a cheaply made inflatable life jacket located under your seat. How this will help you, we don't know. :3

Not to drag this off-topic or anything, but I'll be selling my drums pretty soon, probably for couple hundred or so. Just tossin' that out there. ~Josiah

I might go to howloween. It's about time I went to a furry event again, it's been a few months.
And, as for losing an island fur, did you mean Torwin? I met him personally, and he helped me out big time when I needed it the most.

Not that I have the money right now, but I am interested to learn more of this, Josiah. Might just look into that if I happen to come across a couple hundred dollars, and if you haven't sold them ^^ I might go to howloween. Yay, hopefully we will see you there then. ^^ I was reffering to Gnosis the serval, but yes, Torwin was another great loss. Really great fur. He restarted our Vancouver Island Furmeets. Glad to see he helped you out. Expect nothing less from the great Torwin Collie! hehe :3 -TJ
