I said yes because I'm pretty sure I've been guilty of it more than once in the past. I think my boyfriend had a single before, which wasn't all that roomy for one person, let alone two, so it was probably inevitable. Now that he's got a queen-sized bed, we each take a side and occasionally meet in the middle if there's any desire to cuddle (before quickly stopping when we realize that it's impossible to do so comfortably whilst trying to sleep XD).
My bed's surprisingly not too bad. It's a twin, so there's just enough space to split it evenly between two people provided you don't move much at all. Amazingly, neither of us has been pushed off yet.

we have this AMAZING King Size pillowtop mattress that her mum bought her. she can literally sprawl out on one end and i'll be on the other with plenty of room and i'll barely be able to reach her XD We preffer to sleep in the middle though ;3 She usually curls up to me and i sleep with my arms around her, and i can just pass out in that position forever. I've been through hell and back when it comes to sleeping locations and patterns. if i can sleep on a torpedo with alarms going off around my head i can sleep pretty much anywhere XP

Me and mine sleep in separate rooms. Never an issue, because I kung-fu in my sleep, and she sounds like a chainsaw 5 minutes after falling asleep.
It's mutually beneficial.

Depends where we're sleeping.. He has a tiny little twin at his current place. (moved back in with the 'rents)
We usually cuddle when we're going to sleep until my stomach starts bothering me then I roll onto my stomach to sleep. Its strange, I cant lay on my back, I get intense stomach pain. Anyways.
At my place I have a queen.. Half of which is covered in clothes and mass amounts of pillows because he's not allowed to spend the night anymore and I have an issue with the vast amount of space between me and the edges of the bed..
Though.. When we move back out.. *wags her tail* We get his futon back. I miss the futon..
I dunno.. we sleep allover the bed, some nights cuddling, back to back, half laying on eachother.. Though we have heat issues.. I like average room temperatures, with little to no blanket.. he likes freezing room temperatures and grossly warm under lots of blankets. Its lame.
I ask him about it, and got his input.
Kitsu: we usually cuddle... or spoon
Kitsu: *shrugs*
Kitsu: but we usually sleep in crowded, smaller beds
