So yeah I was bored at work so all I could find was a cashout paper and 2 pens, I know it's terrible but it's because it's the first time i've drawn in like 6 years so yeah... If you haven't already guessed I was trying to draw my fursona with only a blue and black pen i found in a drawer at work hehe. Supposed to be a blue, black, and grey coyote. Messed up a bit but since it's pen your stuck with what you did but yeah...

Heh, heh. Just don't get caught or they'll wonder why they're paying you.
Looks like you've got a rather interesting colour scheme. Are the black bits on the arms supposed to be jagged lines like they are, or are they supposed to 'flow' from one colour to the other on the character? (I know it's tough to draw if you're not familiar with that type of thing, was just curious.)
Looks like an interesting design. Good on you for practicing when you get the chance.
Cheers; -Lady S.

Omg someone actually replied!!!! (heh) The black bits are supposed to be a bit jagged (this was more than I wanted but you get the idea) and it's supposed to make the colors 'flow' so to speack from blue to black to grey.

I got caught drawing when I worked at wal-mart XD
Kinda forgot about the Camera's that are EVERYWHERE. I also left them under the counter and forgot about em. Talking to your boss about your furry drawings is kinda awkward ^^;
But its neat to see someone who does that too :3
Keep it up!

So, um... yeah. You like cats, right boss?
More like this: Boss: Hey Trevor, could you come into my office for a sec. TJ (Feels a shudder of terror run up his spine): Uhh, sure thing. TJ walks into the dark and ominous back room which was the lair of his terrible and mighty boss. Boss: So uhh, what exactly were you doing last night before closing? TJ: Well, it was quiet, so I cleaned up early. I zoned the department and waited for some customers. Boss: Really? It looked like you stood at the desk doodling, and watching Open Season on the DVD deck in the display stand... TJ: Some one put it on repeat... Boss: Silence you insolent fool! You left your drawings under the counter! TJ: (gulps) Uhh, yeah... Sorry about that. I was just bored, so I thought it would be okay since everything was done... Boss: (growls heavily) We don't pay you to draw tits on wierd characters! TJ: She's a girl, she has to have them otherwise she'll look like a dude. And she is a fox, and she had a shirt on too... Boss: Well no more of this doodle crap. Alright? TJ: (Nods) Boss: Now get back to work. HIEL WAL-MART! (His arm shot up) TJ hesitates. Boss glares. TJ:(sigh) ...hiel wal-mart... Alright, some of this may have been a litte exagerated, but it brings up a good point. Why is it that when someone who doesn't draw passes by and freaks out if your drawing a female character. They are like "OMG Why do you draws boobs?" Has anyone else noticed this? Seriously, it could be the cleanest puicture in the world, but stop the freaking press. You gave a lady a pair of boobs, and people make a big deal about it... And they aren't even that big. They are standard sizes, nothing hyper. So WTF is up with that?? o_0 -TJ

You're hilarious, TJ. Duly noted, though. I always feel awkward drawing female characters while in public places because you'll occasionally get that odd look from people while you're in the process of drawing some of the more riske curves. It's awkward drawing butts, actually. Unless they're in some kind of pant-like apparatus, it's just always a wierd situation when someone walks by and sees you in the process of drawing some furry's rear end. I actually feel wierd doodling anything 'furry' (among other subjects) in public, because people tend to see it and go.. "So... what's that?" It's just easier not to have to say.. "Well, it's sort of a deer-man type thing" or "It's something like a werewolf girl, but it's a .. tiger." People just dont' seem to get why you'd spend your time on something like that. (Some of them still think you're wierd for drawing in your spare time anyways, so it's really tough when they see you drawing something 'odd'.) Or, they assume you're really into anime and try to strike up a conversation, to which you have very little to contribute. (In my case, anyways. I enjoy anime, but I can't say I'm immersed in it, or have much experience with what's popular these days.) Interesting story, though; I once walked past this young guy while walking to class at Uni, and saw that he was drawing something in a sketchbook. So, I was about to go and strike up a conversation, when I caught a glance of what he was drawing, and it was this roughly-sketched group of people, all with their fists in the air, and one guy holding up a flag with (get this) a large, intricately detailed penis in the centre, and the heading "One nation under Cock". I had to keep walking, otherwise I would have burst out laughing. I saw this same guy a few weeks later in an english class with a completely yellow shirt that said "I love golden showers", so he must have just been one of those really extroverted people who's comfortable enough to express themselves that way. So, I suppose I shouldn't feel so bad for drawing the occasional fur. But yes, people get wigged about doodles of breasts, especially when they're on a fox. What happened to your park ranger position; is that just a seasonal thing?

What happened to your park ranger position; is that just a seasonal thing? "One nation under cock" Excuse me one moment... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Now thats funny XD Yeah, its a wierd thing to draw in public. And your right. People almost always think your into anime. I mean, I induldge from time to time, but its mostly older stuff. But still, you can't draw in public without drawing some attention to yourself. Though sometimes you can strike up a great conversation with someone with interests similar to your own, but that can be kind of a rarity... The way I look at it, if I want boobs on a fox, I shall make it so, and f**k all the naysayers. My sketchbook, my vixens. Thats the rule I just made up. (Sorry, was listening to Eddie Izzard a little while ago XD) The Park job unfortunatly is a seasonal thing, so I am on my butt till I find something else to get through the winter. I was told I might get a spot out at a marine park north of Tofino. Pretty excited about it. Six months secluded and my own cabin in a beautiful park on the coast, and two hours away from anything that resembles civilization. X3 If that doesn't happen, then I was told I would be the full time night ranger at the park I worked at last summer starting next May, so its all good ^^ How about yourself? What are you doing for employment throughout the winter? -TJ

Its not a bad drawing Krav, its better than people who dont draw at all. Plus, practice makes perfect Alright, some of this may have been a litte exagerated, but it brings up a good point. Why is it that when someone who doesn't draw passes by and freaks out if your drawing a female character. They are like "OMG Why do you draws boobs?" Has anyone else noticed this? Ya this happened with me when I was showing my drawings to my friend, one was a furry dog girl, dressed and everything. But my friend was like "Uhh...ya thats nice..." Plus its just awkward drawing boobs and such, cause you dont want it to look like a freakishly big or weird shaped o.O "So... what's that?" It's just easier not to have to say.. "Well, it's sort of a deer-man type thing" or "It's something like a werewolf girl, but it's a .. tiger." LOL yes, I know what thats like. I used to doodle random crap in a class ALL OVER this one book. I realised I lost it cause I had to write notes, and saw that some people were looking through it during class. I was like "ZOMG *O.O face*". They had a good laugh at least (stick drawing of my prof playing a guitar with a detailed head ), and they left my book and I got it back "YAY! *fist pump*". But ive gotten back to drawing, but dunno how id upload them, I dont have a scanner or a camera .
