So long as you're with a paying group, I don't think they really care that much. I assume it'd be a different story if only half of us were actually bowling.

As for lanes, Valley Lanes isn't an option, since their old building's being turned into a soup kitchen or some such and they've yet to announce a new location. I know McCurdy has five (I think, at least) and ten-pin bowling and is also right near Scandia and Grand Prix, but they are a little pricey. I don't know much about Capri except that it's in a mall attached to a grocery store and a Petcetera (last I saw it) and, yeah, seniors love it, heh. I believe there's also a bowling alley on the highway a ways down from McCurdy, but looks rather sketchy; I think my boyfriend's been there before, though, so I'll ask him for more info on it.

We could meet sometime between noon and 2:30ish? So everyone has a chance to eat beforehand rather than hunting something down while we're there (and in suit, in some cases).
Personally, I prefer McCurdy for bowling since I frequent it most often. Never been to Capri, but if it's cheeper, it might be a better choice. Either way, we should also call ahead and make sure they're okay with us coming. I don't see it being a problem, since it's right after Halloween anyway.

1:00 at McCurdy's on November 1st, then.  We'll eat lunch beforehand, then bowl together, then hit Gracewolf's place for some movies/hangouts.  Will that work for you, Grace?

If someone wants to bring pop/juice, and others want to bring munchies, I'll take care of dinner itself, as long as I have access to a stove.    Is anyone vegetarian?

I imagine bowling won't go later than around 4:00 or so, and then dinner and a movie will put us around 9:00.  Does that work for people, and especially for you, Grace?

I'll be coming up from Oliver, so anyone that needs a ride from the Penticton area can catch one with me.  If you need a ride from somewhere in Kelowna, I *might* be able to help you out, but if people could carpool as much as possible that would be lovely.  (I don't fancy driving all around Kelowna if I don't have to.) 


As soon as we have an idea of numbers, I'll call McCurdy's and make some kind of reservation.  If you don't want to bowl, you can just hang out until we head down for hangouts.

Ah, but you have to bring your partial if you can!  Is there any way it could fit in a backpack, or perhaps you could catch a ride with someone?

Also, if anyone wants to borrow some suit parts to 'try out', I've got a few different ones.  There's a tribal bear fullsuit, which can also be worn as a partial, and then I've got some various paws/tails, etc.

If I finish up another partial by then, I might even have an extra wolf partial for people to borrow.  (If not, I'll just wear that one.)

blah. I can't make this one, due to 3 reasons, 1) Sunday Buses are hell on earth (once every hour, if ya miss it its an entire hour's wait at the stop >.>) 2) I more than likely will be going to a halloween party the evening before and I'll be up till like 4 in the morning on sunday XD, and 3)tbph, I absolutely hate bowling...its one of the few games I get really competitive about yet am not good AT ALL at lol

anyways, I'm always up for small meetups like coffee/lunch if anyone wants to, the offer for a pool day stands until December 17th as well.
hope ya all have fun though.
