i know how 2 sow in highschool i took textile classes but thanks 4 the reminder it has been a while since i have last thing i did was tj's tail about a year ago and my mom helped me with the pattern because it was weird and she was interested. i think my mom is a closet furry when i showed her the head she put it on and when down stairs started dancing and scared her boyfriend i have never seen him jump so high  or scream so loud b4 it was truly beautiful Cheesy.
anyways back 2 my head the entire head is hand sewn so far because i do not have a hot glue gun. i should have specified my question was not about furring it was about the general shape should i add or remove foam from any ware

Hey there, Gnosis;

Nice to see the progress on this guy!

If I were to offer a suggestion, it would be to tweak the ear shape so that they're just slightly more triangular.  (Eg:  http://www.brandywinezoo.org/images/serval_cat.jpg  )

Not overly pointed, but just slightly enough so that they're a bit more feline-like.  As they are, they're quite wide and seem to almost give a mousey impression.  The head shape is nicely feline, though, which adds to the 'serval' look.

Wula:  Everyone types differently; I would watch what you say because some things can be taken quite offensively.  A lot of our members are dyslexic, or have other reasons that their typing isn't perfect.  (I don't think ANY of us has 'perfect' typing, yourself included! )

Thanks;

thanks 4 your help with the ears i was kind of thinking something was off but i could not put my finger on it, i will revamp them then c if furry.ca has any more pointers. good guess on the dyslexic thing. i know i have bad spelling, punctuation, and my written grammar leaves much 2 b desired but i like to believe that my knowledge of biology  and chemistry makes up for my shortcomings in the literary department. Wink funny thing tho i took first year English at collage and somehow passed with a B i think it was a fluke either that or my subject matter was impeccable... no probably just a fluke. Ugh

a update on my head like Lady Serpent suggested i reworked the ears. Smiley i have no fur so i sadly cannot finish it yet instead i painted my head 2 figure out the markings. my original head was supposed 2 be all black with some markings, but i found this bright pink/purple fur on line that i really like and my friends convinced me to use it, they didn't have 2 try hard. check it out if u wish and feel free 2 give me more suggestions http://s303.photobucket.com/albums/nn142/vladslust/ ps i pierced my heads tongue

The realistic shape of the ears looks fantastic!  The notch in the lower half is a great touch.  It looks like you've drawn in some faint spots, which is good.  You'll have to watch out for the all-black muzzle without many spots,  because then you might start to look more like a hyena:  http://nataly.net/wp-content/serval1.jpg  as compared to http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/images/Africa/factfile/hyena-05.jpg

Isn't your actual tongue pierced, too?

Looks awesome so far.
