well heres the thing, im homeschooled so barely get outside mah house + where i live theres prettymuch nobody bout my age  .. so >_> well i want real life friends and was thinking of getting a sport now the problem is.... how would i go to my mom and tell her? and should i even tell her o.o? or just stay home for ehhh the next 3 years? lawl  |

Um, you're worried about your mum knowing you want to play a sport? What could possibly be wrong with that? Just say you want to.
Having a genuine interest in a specific one that is played in the area would probably help, but I still see nothing potentially wrong with the idea.

Having a genuine interest in a specific one that is played in the area would probably help, but I still see nothing potentially wrong with the idea.

I am big on sports as a character builder (plus the exercise is good).
I get this from my mother who was a national champion in her sport back in the day - the kind of mother who, when i got hurt (often) told me to suck it up and get back in the game. Now that I'm 31 I realize the lessons I learned playing sports, the friends I made and the fun I had (and all the bad times) helped prepare me for lots of the perils of adulthood.

They're not sports, but for me rock climbing and general hiking/backpacking are some of my favorite activities. Not that I get to do them much.
