Sorry, fellow furs. I registered here a while ago, never followed through. But there is a Vancouver furry convention next year in March. When I logged on here I did a check and found out no one on this site heard, nor was anything posted.

So here it is, it is called VancouFur, the main site is up, but still under construction. VancouFur.ca

You can follow on twitter vancoufur

The mascot and theme is done, advertising is under way. There are a few events coming up, fund raisers and dances between now and the con.

Feel free to PM me I will now watch this site also.

Will there be chaos?  Vancouver events are no fun unless there's tear gas and burning cars!
Smiley

Oh, rioters.

Sounds like fun.  Looking forward to seeing how things go.  Thanks for posting it up.  Smiley

No Lady Serpent, there shall be no riots, that was a bunch of .... , that preplanned to loot and vandalize, the game was just the excuse, would have happened win or lose.

As for the con going good, but can always use some help. Being the chairfur, disappointed that our media person did not post it here. Sorry I missed this site myself.

Hello Handa, it has started and is well into planning, we are now talking to a few hotels, see where we can get the best price. I am the chair for the convention and things are going great, We are now in the process of spreading the word, hope to see a lot of you in Vancouver BC in March 2012.

I certainly don't disagree on that one.  Just making light of a ridiculous situation.  Smiley  If you can't laugh at humanity, you'll surely cry.  Comedy before tragedy.

Would have been nice not to have lost so badly after such a fantastic up-and-down series.  It seemed we didn't put up much of a fight in the end.
Ah well; at least one of the teams showed up.  Smiley

Good luck with the planning, mate.

So true, I think the search party is still lokking for the other team, they think they might have phase shifted. The missing team, scored 8 goals according to the time lords, but that is only second hand info the reliability of it is unknown.

As for the riots, cleaned that up quick, have a photo in the local paper that I plan to post here. Kind of shows what Vancouver is really like.

Now back to the VancouFur Convention, an art auction has been set up ... http://www.bcfurries.com/forum/index.php?topic=3195.0

There is going to be a furry dance on July 16th 2011 in New Westminster for any furs, who might be in town or would like to be in town ...

Our web site is VancuFur.ca there you will find a link to our twitter account, so follow us and keep up dated.

Ah, that's a good development.

I've added a forum to this section specifically for VancouFur now. Feel free to use it for announcements and such, of course. It'll help keep us furries here informed and add further exposure for your event, naturally.

Good luck with it!
