I write poetry kind of often, so I guess I'll show them off a bit ^^ first one I'm gonna show I wrote in memory of my grandfather, who was(and still is) a very important person in my life.

Living On
I still remember the day we first met,
You looked at me with caring eyes and a fox’s smile.
We made it though this incredibly long mile.
A day to remember; a day to regret,
When love is abound and everything is set.
When memories fade and flesh becomes bone,
When the living become dead and the dead are home,
Will we still be together?
Will we still have those same silly looks on our faces,
All those years ago?
A day to remember; a day to forget.
A gamble on life; we’ve all made bets.
When the day is gone and done,
We’ll still be out there having fun,
Living On.

We live our lives, learning from our experiences. And at the end, we ask ourselves: \"Did I do everything I want to? Was I successful?\"

Far out! My grandfather is gone now, too, but I still feel a very special connection with him. He had a very profound impact on my life. I relate to the poem perfectly. Beautiful!
