Hey,
So I'm having a wolf-partial (tilly) done for october of this year.
The problem is.. wolf is such a male dominant  species, and I don't really see a whole lot of "female" wolf fursuits.

How do you think I would go about suggesting ways to make the wolf head more feminine?
I'm no artist, so maybe someone can suggest a way to "girlify" a wolf face Smiley  heh.

(by the way, Tilly is a realistic style wolf, so big batty eyelashes and lipstick are out of the question)

thanks dudes Smiley

Accenting certain facial areas of the head can help.  Smaller features suggest female, and adding some markings around the eyes that accent a more slender and feminine eye-shape help.

Here's an example of my own work:
Lucifur Fox

Oona Vixen
http://www.komickrazi.com/costumes/oona.html

Both of these fursuit heads were made with the EXACT same mold, however, I gave Oona smaller eyes and more flowing feminine elongated markings around her eyes.  For luci, I made his markings smaller, bolder and sharper.

Another good tip with the eyes is that female eyes tend slant up more at the corners, while males are more streamlined or slant down (this is partially the natural shape of the eye and partially because of make-up, etc.).
As Wula said, the fact that it's a partial will really help, too, since your own body shape will be visible as well. If you want, you could also always emphasize basic female mannerisms, as well (swaying hips, hand gestures, etc.).

oh I see what you mean Smiley
Thanks temperance.

I have to try and sketch out some concept art, and I will most definitely keep those ideas in mind.

I guess I don't have to worry so much about gender, being only a partial suit and such.
ugh.. I was mistaken for a guy once

Female chins are generally smaller, too.  Not that it necessarily must be that way in nature, but it tends to portray a more feminine look when the chin is a bit smaller than it would be otherwise.

Umm clothes or jewelry? Trimming the fur more fancy, think poodle to emphaize girly slightness?
Lots of fluttery and swaying motions while in suit?

Not sure what else hasn't been said several times
