Got any?  Want one?   Sneaky  Things have been coming along here very well.  The upstairs is now a great workspace with a real kitchen, nicely wired up and all that, and I just gotta mention the fact that my old room downstairs is now nothing but books from floor to ceiling.    Unfortunately my hips are kinda screwed up (long story for another time) so I'll need some help to do any further construction around here.  The good news is that I've got things to the point where I could actually feed and support someone here.  Guess I should mention that there is a lot of great fresh food around here and that I'm an excellent cook, nobody who ever visits loses weight!  Well I suppose if you DID wanna lose weight I could just hook you up to a plow, or you could spend every second day paddling the canoe around (your choice).

It's a creative workspace, it should be used.  I've been getting down some sewing skills over the winter and will probably start with the body of a suit very soon.  There's a sewing machine and I've got quite a bit of fur from this wholesale place in town, really not all that expensive.  Now you starting to get interested?  Anyone wanna build themselves a suit this summer and help out around here with a bit of easy this and that?  Oh and the barn is my crash-space, visitors get the house which does have all the modern conveniences, huge place, very comfortable.

Well I could go on forever so I'd better stop right here, or maybe in a little bit.  Didn't mention all the photography I've been doing, or the telescope I've been playing around with.  And if that don't get some interest then I guess I'll just have to keep looking for something that does!

I have wants, but not plans...other than working and ensuring my entry into school. Probably it'll be a LOT of working (and a lot of stupid Icedcapps *gag*) and not a lot of other stuff, but we shall see! I'd love to go camping once or twice this summer, go over to one of the islands around here (one I grew up on, actually) and work on my arting and my photography. I'd like to do some model photoshoots, to see if it's a good one for me, and also get better at my drawing. Because my drawing could use bettering. Also, the writing. So much writing. O.O
And yes...basically a generic "I'm gonna do what I always do!" I also have longer term plans, like getting more into yoga so I can do it at home too, and the rollerblading...which is hard, and kinda scary, but I still wanna! And also, I'm being more motivated to do the dancing. So, more exercise all around! Aaaaand...eating better. Because it helps my lack of energy and my depression. Smiley
Er...didn't mean to ramble so much. Very tired. 'Scuse me Smiley

Cha, that's right. I work there, and the Ice capp mix smells like old-man runners. And it's sticky, and gross, and gets all over you. Making them isn't too bad, if you can get around the really badly made lids that don't go on or stay on. I also don't like coffee, so that might have something to do with it Tongue

What island did you grow up on rune?

Gabriola. I moved there for grade 6, and moved off for grade...10 or 11, I think. It was great living there, and I miss it a lot, but the ferry rides at 6am kinda sucked! My parents couldn't afford it after a while, so we moved back to Nanaimo. Drew's never been, so I have to take him sometime soon! Smiley

I still have yet to get a job (which is harder than you think if you don't want to work with food), but I hope to have one by summer so I can work around 40 hour weeks. I am also taking summer school, by choice, for social 30. This takes up my mornings until noon until the end of July, which I would just sleep through anyway. I am also helping my dad with his racecar at the local drag track almost every weekend. I also do nature photography manly of landscapes and the sky, but on the lucky occasion I can get an animal. I hope to visit my mom up in Whitehorse some time this summer, probably for a week just to see her. Me and my buddy Cody want to take a "bare necessities" camping trip out at a lake that we are still undecided on. Other than that nothing really Tongue.

Picked up my third job last week, so I'm going to be keeping pretty busy with that (I'm a page at both Kelowna libraries and supervisor at a locally-owned toy store). I wouldn't have taken up the second page job if I wasn't saving up for my trip, but I figure I might as well keep it in September since it's good pay. I'll be going to Tokyo, Japan with a good friend of mine from July 27th to August 17th, which has got me all nervous and giddy. We're pretty much heading in there with limited knowledge of the language (five years of Japanese classes and we still stumble over pretty much everything and I don't even want to think about kanji) and pretending we'll be all right. Even if we get lost, mugged, arrested, and wind up spending three days in prison, it'll be awesome. Cheesy Other than that and attempting to find any time to be social or relax, I'm just working on suit stuffs with Wula and helping my boyfriend's brother with cosplay and the wonders of sewing.

If I had the resources/time, I'd love to come out for a while, Atomicat, since it sounds pretty cool. Give me a shout if you still need help next year. :/

Japan!  Woot!  Wow!  Mind the xenophobia and look out for giant robots!  I just got Godzilla vs Megalon at the thrift store last week and I dunno, swine flu is one thing but giant mosters are like real man!  And I totally agree with that mindset, if the tao says you've gotta be dragged around the seedy underbelly of Tokyo by a bunch of J-rock groupies on pilz, so be it!  I've a minor day-dream of being in Japan, total gaijin, and casually cranking out some scorching origami.  I wonder what kind of reaction I'd get.  Ah projects, I've got to phone this paper company and try and wheedle a huge sheet of paper from em.  The "world record" for large origami is rather pathetic and I think making a pterodactyl with a 25' wingspan should raise the bar a bit!  Always something.  I just dug out an old turntable (16 & 78 rpm settings?  Neat!) and will be stripping it down to being a rotating platform.  See... if you spin any liquid it will form a parabola, the shape needed for making oh, I dunno, maybe a whacking huge Dobsonian cassegrain telescope perhaps!  *Tingle!*

Always something.  I build and do what I can, and eventually some adventuresome people with more energy than I will make their way here.  Hope you will be one of em.

Making sure i have enough money to go see one of my best friends, getting my car looking SEXY! (ha ha... lots of work ahead of me..) and for the very few that might potentially know what this is... Saving up for a B16A (or B16B > : D ) for my car, as well as MANY other upgrades, because really... why have a good looking car that does not perform equivalently on the track? *is thinking on working for CN Rail as a laborer...*
