Dream Girl


I sit and wait with baited breath
To touch your skin with the softest caress

The silken feel passes below my tips
Your cheek presses lightly below my lips

Cooling winds blow past
Savoring the moment till the last

Hands falling down your side
Eyes hiding my swallowing pride

A brief moment in my arms
Links to my hearts charms

On the beach the waves break
Slowly coming awake

Slowly becoming aware
That you were never there
