Because I've barely done any furry pixel art, and I felt the need to draw something with a high cuteness factor. ~Josiah

Oh my god. Pixel art. <3
Also, josiah, we need to hang sometime, now that I'm not the only furry in town. :o

Sure I'm positive there's tons of furs here, actually, just have to look. I know of at least a few others that I've seen and I know a couple as well (though I haven't been able to get ahold of one of them for quite awhile). A friend of mine here got into the furry thing recently, she's out of town now but will be back next Wednesday... maybe we should all hang out, she hasn't really met any other furries yet. And yeah, I love pixel art. One of the first artistic forms I got really into, though I haven't used it much outside the realm of indie games and such. I should do more of it like this. ~Josiah

That looks really good, Josiah. Good job on the shading. The tail could benefit from a bit of shading also, but it doesn't look bad at all. Also, that's a fantastic rendering of your pendant. Did you put that in entirely by hand?
Great blushing effect and portrayal of emotion.

Thanks all! LS: Yep, all done pixel by pixel (though with the occasional aid of things like brushes for blocking out large areas and a line tool), as is the way of pixel art. Kittara: Haha, do your rats regularly make that expression? ~Josiah
