I REALLY would like to make my own fursuit, but I'm not very confident in my ability to make one, and I don't want to try and make it, then it turns out all gimpy and weird looking. So in the short, I was wondering if there was anyone in the Chilliwack / Abbotsford area that would be able to help me make my first suit? It would be much appreciated! Cheesy

Hm, have you sewn before? If you haven't I suggest starting with some simple projects to build up confidence.

Well, kinda sorta. I'm not a pro or anything, but I can make some things. I made my BF a little voodoo deady-doll a little while ago. I haven't really had much practice since I was in middle school (which was a while ago *lol*) the head came out kinda gimpy, cuz I couldn't remember how to close the stitch once I stuffed it Tongue but it turned out ok. Really, I just kinda wanted to start with the paws, tail and ears, then later make the feet, head and body when I'm more skilled. I did also test out making some gloves, I made them with felt. The only problems I had with that was that I made the wrist too small (had to cut it so I could get my hand in), and the fingers were short (they only went to my knuckles). If I had a camera, I could show you, but it broke a while ago..... Dead
