Dudes! It's too bad I've been off the boards for months, I had no idea there was a group in Nanaimo.  I sure would like to come, what time and what cost? I'll be working 2-6, but otherwise I'm free to go. Also, I just found out about the VIFur group on Facecrack... how does one find it? The search function is stupid and can't seem to find the group. |

I, too, haven't been here for some time...and am surprised that you guys got the Ramada to agree! I didn't get the impression that the owner/manager guy would be into big group get-togethers, at random, with no apparent reason except to get together. Oh well! It would be helpful to find out when this thing is going down, and I don't think my beloved or I have Yahoo accounts, and I cannot find anything on Facecrack that has anything to do with VI furs. I got some rather grotesque pictures come up though. *shudders* I may or may not be persuaded to come. I'm rather...shy. I get pretty scared about meeting people in person, even if I do have my big, strong man there to protect me.  |

Bah, Drew's done the Malahat (between where we are and Victoria) on his scooter...it's not quite that bad! Although, it wouldn't really be recommended with something lower than a 125cc, I'd think. Even then, it's kind of scary, or so he says.
Also, the fur meet was fun! My very first. Hard for me to be social, especially in groups, but I did meet a lot of nice furs (you guys know who you are!) and had some fun. Thanks!

Another Truly Excellent meet!, Final Count was 35 Furs in attendance and not a single complaint from the hotel!, As messy as it got in there, it was completely cleaned before we left, so they loved us XD. I want to thank everyone for coming and I truly hope you all had a great time! Thanks so much for chipping in for costs. Everything balanced out pretty well I must admit! Also had our largest showing of Vancouver Furs yet!, Thanks for coming across guys! Hope the food and drink was ok and enjoyed, feel free to shoot any ideas/suggestions my way so we can improve more yet!. The VI-Fur Van had it's first official Fur-related usage!, i'm glad I got the mini-van because we had to overfill it to get all of the Vancouver furries from the terminal..poor van only holds 7...we had 10 packed in there XD with two fursuits and a guitar!
So, all in all, I think things went pretty good, I look forward to seeing you next month!, Same time...same place!

Yess it was by far the best fur-meet to date! although if possible I think we should start doing it earlier in the day myself, I know it has to be worked around various schedules and such but alot of people seemed to leave once it got after midnight, and if It was earlier it would give people with fur-suits more of a chance to go outside if they wanted(Mind you we did goto that restaurant last time at like 2am haha)
just my 2cents. Anyway, was nice meeting all you new guys ^^

Yeah it was sooo fun,. best ever! Got lots of pics & vids from it anyone wants me to email/post them. Can't believe how much fun the pouncing random ppl & ripping apart innocent toys was *giggles* Happy to meet so many new & cool furs!
Gonna bring more blankets/plushies for the Kitty Korner next time so more ppl can rest if they need it. Anyoen else who has some should too, & some furry decorations maybe.
