When a Heart Bleeds

The heart bleeds tears of sorrow
When it doesn’t know about tomorrow
It doesn’t know to beg or borrow

To heal the hurt and forget the sadness
Living through today getting through the madness

The heart bleeds in the hollow emptiness
Filling the void of once loveliness
Wishing for the day for a caress
From one who shows true caringness

Any thoughts and comments are welcome.

I am not sure if this is about healing, loss, being hurt or coping with the  past but its well thought through.

It has vivid, sticky imagery.  From the way it's described, it sounds as if this heart is drastically damaged, and it will take a long time for it to heal.  Or perhaps it's simply in the wrong conditions, since the mention of a caress suggests that it could heal quite readily, given the chance.

Interesting words.  Speaking from personal lonliness?  (If you wish to divulge, of course..)

well.. to answer your question LS, yes. Ive found recently that writing and poetry is good way for me to get my thoughts and feeling dealt with before they can fester and do more damage so to speak.

Your first thought is right about it being damagedm and yes the last bit is true as well, perhaps.
